Excellent. Where was this 20 years ago?

Not much to say, other than the best, easy to install, easy to use, most secure bike phone mount, I’ve ever bought. Sturdy construction and secure fit. Everything you want from a phone mount. Fitted one to each on my three bikes.

I've been using the Quad Lock mounting system since 2016, first with an iPhone 6s and more recently with a 7 plus. Over the years as well as the cases I have ended up purchasing the normal and out front bike mounts, the car mount and the sports armband which I use as a wrist strap. I use the bike mounts extensively off-road and the sports armband gets used as a wrist strap (I like to be able to easily glance at the screen) when I am out running. Negatives - The cases are a bit chunky. - Expensive, but then how much is your phone worth? Positives - Extremely robust and secure locking mechanism - unlike several other cheaper, and not so cheap options, that I tried before this system. It has never jettisoned my phone into the undergrowth in the middle of nowhere. - Easy to remove and attach - I like to take photo's when I'm out and about. Removing the phone to take the photos and subsequently reattaching is very quick and easy. It's probably obvious, but I am extremely pleased with this mounting system. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who needs an extremely robust and reliable mounting option.

I bought this product to replace a magnetic phone holder which had not been very effective at keeping my phone in place in my bumpy little car. It is much stronger and more secure, and the quad lock element works really well. The mount is rigid and makes it much easier to see the satnav on the screen as I drive. The only negative, other than the relatively high price, is that the gimbal which allows the angle of the screen to be adjusted needs quite regular tightening to keep it in the chosen position - particularly when the car has been sitting in the sun. I worry slightly that I will damage it by over tightening, but haven’t done so yet. Also, it’s a pity that it requires a pad to be stuck to the dashboard, where my previous mount stayed put through suction alone.

great bit of kit

Just bought this mount for my recently acquired commuter bike. Nice fit on a dual clamped headset typical for folding bikes. Love the release mechanism, works really well, really pleased. If you’re wondering “will it last”? I’ve just bought this to mount my iPhone SE (original) to my bike. Had the corresponding iPhone 5 shell cover for my phone for I don’t know how long, still looks like new after years of use as my daily cover, attaching to bikes, arm strap, sticky mounts, even a custom mount I made myself with magnets to fix phone to workout kit in the gym. Quadlock is a little pricey but I’ve never had to replace any of it. Genuinely recommend.

I must say the Quad Lock Outfront mount and Universal Adapter with Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is an excellent combination for cycling. I am very impressed with the quality of the Outfront mount. I also purchased an Xperia Z3 Compact Case - Ringke FUSION CRYSTAL VIEW Case. Shock Absorption Bumper Premium Hard Case and stuck the Universal Adapter to the back. Been using this for months now and cycled 100s of kilometers with no issues. I was searching for a solution to go on the bike. I use Strava and listen to music and found myself searching for ANT+ capabilities and a larger screen. I found the Z3 Compact and went on the search for a mount. After I borrowed a mates Garmin 520 and discovered that I didn't like it. Not for me as the screen was too small and colors not great. I kept messing up the start of my ride. I found this setup combo and really delighted with it.

Ya contaba con el primer modelo BIKE MOUNT, pero como ocupo una batería portátil para el teléfono tuve que comprar el OUT FRONT MOUNT para el teléfono, cualquiera de los dos son excelentes, el BIKE MOUNT tiene apox. tres años que lo compre y sigue en uso, espero que el OUT FRONT MOUNT dure bastantes años.

バイク通勤で使用しているiPhoneを、手軽に三脚に装着できます。 通常のマウントのようなバネがなく、キツめの隙間に入れ込む感じなので、感覚的に耐久性に不安を覚えますが、まぁ冷静に考えると、脱着は多くても週に２−３回でしょうから、数年はもつことを期待します。

This works SO MUCH BETTER than the spring-loaded iPhone holders, but, of course, you need a Quad Lock case to use this. Since I use my iPhone on my motorcycle, I keep my Quad Lock case on all of the time. When my wife and I go out, I use this Quad Lock tripod adapter on my selfie stick for quick selfies then twist off and back into my pocket. I also used this on a tripod for family photos using my iPhone. I like this product so much that I bought another one just recently. Works on other phones, too, as long as you have a Quad Lock case for your phone.
