Really nice, well-made product with helpful Teaching Guide included
Introduced this to our 4-year old granddaughter, who is really enjoying building words with it (with adult support). She is now mature enough to understand that the letter shapes need to be handled sensibly (and with care). The pieces are tactile and she loves handling them.The product can be used and enjoyed informally by simply making words together. But the Teaching Guide gives very detailed & helpful information about the order of progression for more structured activities.

Perfect for learning
My 5 years old loved everything but he wanted a big bigger and more diagraphs and trigraphs. The only complain is that magnet is coming off so soon as I bought only couple of weeks ago.

My daughter really enjoys practicing her spelling words with this. It’s a great activity. I think think the price is a bit high though. The magnetic board is the cardboard and could be sturdier and made from a better quality material. The letters a good quality but it would be good to have more letters so you can do a list of words or short sentence. The letters on the paper that are stuck down, that others have complained about, are not supposed to come off as it’s the ‘magic e’. Children fill in missing letters to make a word like ‘cake’.

Good product
It has just arrived and I am very pleased with it. Magnets work fine, stick to the board easily, letters formed in cursive writing which is an advantage. The only thing I would change it would be having all the digraphs and trigraphs in one colour because sometimes having too many colours can confuse instead of help. I am still giving it 5 stars though.

Poor quality
Great idea but quality really not what I expected for the money. Some of the letters arrived stuck to a piece of card and removing them from the card means the magnet tears off so they won’t stick!
