I had these put on my scar after a total knee replacement but had to buy more. I first bought the Boots brand which were utterly useless and barely stayed on more than an hour so I ordered these Steri-Strips. They hold the scar together well which is necessary for 2 weeks after having clips removed to prevent an ugly stretched scar forming. Most of the strips lasted on my skin for over 2 weeks before peeling off. I wouldn't buy any other brand after using these which are strong, stick very well and last well. I was told you can even shower with them on although I was unable to get into our shower to test that out at this stage of my healing.

This item is good overall but the strips are not so good to use I was looking for the slim ones while these are too large and when u cut they are not good enough.

These Steri strips skin closures are Ideal for any type of cut very strong holds skin together good and do not have to be changed every time you move

does what it says on the tin, ie. closes wounds. Also can be used to cover raw bits ie. burst blisters, where a dressing with a pad would create pressure and/or irritation, these are thin and can be put on an open wound to encourage healing.

perfect for those abrasions which the elderly get so easily with their thin skin. after cleaning the wound and coaxing the skin back into place apply in the direction of the displaced skin, it will do a great job and heal without scars. Leave on till it falls of without any pulling
