Dymatize ISO 100 Birthday Cake 2,2 kg - Whey Protein Hydrolysat + Isolat Powder

Just finished the tub of this Birthday Cake powder which I was lucky to pick it up for a bargain price from Amazon, even the current price is a bargain too. Even though Dymatize is a known brand, at first I was dubious as to whether it would be too sweet, tasted foul, or mixed badly which can be the case with certain flavours like this. The emptying of the tub in no time at all gives indication that it was enjoyed without being overly sweet or any rank taste.Two scoops in my post workout shaker with either water or milk and down it went. In a hand held shaker after a good shake there was no lumps or any grainy like texture. Unlike some powders I was able to take my time and enjoy the flavour and the consistent smooth mix.This particular brand is well known particularly across the waters in the US but for those needing a little reassurance it scores reasonably well on the Labdoor test charts. No sugar but really nice tasting Birthday cake flavour. Really nice protein shake.

Mine came with a hole on the seal. Is this normal, should I be concerned or this is normal! This is really concerning, I've never received an item with a perforated seal!!!!!!! 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

In terms of purely an ingredient point of view, this is a seriously quality protein though the taste isn't the best though at the end of the days that's opinion based.

Got to be honest, I'd read really good reviews about how this tasted, but I'm not going to lie, it's gross, way too sweet for me, very strange chemically smell when you open the tub, not nice at all. I'm sure functionally, its just as good as another but when you have a choice of better tasting protein shakes, why not get the same results from one that doesn't taste like crap.People that say protein shakes like this are actually nice clearly haven't done much research on the taste front.On the flip side, I also bought some Chocolate ON Caseine which is lovely, so ditch this and put that in the basket instead. You'll thank me, seriously, you will. And you can make a lovely protein fluff with it and blueberries. Mmmmm.I've given it 2 stars as it probably does work fine.

Great supplement for training and dieting - I have used it post training mixed with water and also as a meal replacement by mixing with milk.Only blemish is that it can sometimes not fully dissolve
