Good basic colours
I've used this starter's kit to create a colour wheel on paper using a silkscreen (see photo), as I was curious about the quality of shades that could be obtained with the primary colours only (Red, Blue, Yellow). As the kit comes with its own Green, I've included it separately for comparison. The colours were used neat - so no retarder, transparent base or water added. The secondary colours (Purple, Green and Orange) were obtained by mixing two primary colours in equal amounts (1:1 by weight - not volume) and the tertiary colours (unlabeled) were obtained by mixing two primary colours 3 parts to 1 part (3:1 by weight). Overall, I am most impressed by the vibrancy of the Primary Yellow and the Tertiary Orange and Green either side of it. As is often the case with basic colour sets, the Purples are not particularly impressive, but I suspect that a 'warm' Red would solve this issue. I am yet to test the Black and White.Aside from the shades, the ink itself has a strong smell when the pot is open, but I don't think it lingers in the air once the lid is closed.

Good fabric paint
Good fabric paints, easy to mix. I like the big pots, practical and good value. Only problem, a nasty toxic smell that gives me a headache, I have to wear a face mask when painting...

Black Ink Pot has Cracked and the ink has Spilled
Firstly the large Amazon packaging arrived looking damage, I then proceeded to open the rest of the packaging to find that the black ink pot inside has cracked at the lid and had spilled all over the over bottles, the inside of the box and now unfortunately on my kitchen worktop and jumper. Either the fault of the courier or manufacturer. Either way I’m really unhappy about the lack of care taken with a delicate product which stains clothing and materials.I am also concerned about the longevity of the ink itself now it’s been forcefully opened.I would return the package and get a refund or replacement but that would just create more mess and I would need to pay for more packaging and also take the time to find a returning courier. Unfortunately my only option is keep the damaged product and leave a review.DISCLAIMER: The above images are after I cleaned the pot to show the damaged area.

Very thick, smooth paint. Perfect for screen printing.
Really thick paints so don't need to use a lot when screen printing on T-shirt fabric. No bleeding. Haven't tried mixing colours yet but am confident the results will be perfect when I do. Highly recommend.

You only need a little bit for a screen
They give off a strong smell that I was not prepared for. However very gluppey ink but very strong, vibrant colours and easy to use and easy to wash out of screen etc.
