ENNOTEK USB Charger 4-Port USB Travel Wall Charger (6.8 Amp) with UK/EU/US Plugs for Smartphone and Tablet - White

Used this on a recent holiday and the family were charging all manner of iphones, ipads and android devices without issue.I checked the throughput with a usb power meter when I was charging my ipad - an ipad usually charges at over 2A. All four usb sockets were allowing the full 2.1A. I was slightly confused by this as the markings on the device suggest 2 sockets are lower rated at 1A. However, looking at the product images it seems you can have a total of 3.4A over each pair of sockets. So, basically, it doesn't matter which socket you plug your devices into, they all supply max power. What you would need to bare in mind though is that if you wanted to charge 2 ipads (or devices that take 2A) then you would want to ensure they are on separate 'pairs' of sockets.Recommended.

Excellent device. I've been using this for 4 months now, and never had the slightest problem. One advantage is that the ports point upwards, so you can treat it like a rack of sockets, easy to see what is plugged in, and no fiddling around. The construction is solid. It is made of thick plastic and might last many years or decades. Centuries after the world has moved on from USB charging sockets, this item might still be lurking in an attic gathering dust.PS. After 3 years use, one of the ports stopped working, and another one looks iffy, so downgraded to 4 stars. But I am still using it happily.

I'm confused!!! Mine has just arrived. It contains 2 output plugs. 1 X 2 round prongs 1 X 2 flat prongs. When I check online for the plug types that I will be encountering in Cambodia, Thailand and India, there are multiple socket types for each country. India for instance has a variation on the UK plug (round instead of flat). How can I know which type I'm going to encounter in each location?I also do a fair amount of traveling in Europe and Australia. So I already have them.But this won't cover Australia as it has flat pins at an angle !! But my Australia plug will convert to the type provided here.My advice..... Check those plugs you already have, you might not actually need this.

This little USB charger seems well-built, it's very compact for what it does and plugs directly in to the socket, and doesn't have overly annoying lights that would keep you awake if you use it in a bedroom, the one light it does have (on the front) could be taped up easily if you didn't want it, as opposed to some that shine upwards very brightly.I read another review which stated that any of the four ports put out 2.1 amps - I have tested this and it certainly isn't the case on the model I have, you do indeed have to use the correct ports for 1 amp and 2.4 amp respectively, this was tested with a portapow usb power meter.Very handy that it also has EU and US plugs. Spot on!

Clever and solid product. This was so useful on our family holiday. I also use it at home and am confident to keep it on overnight (it doesn't get hot.) The only issue is that it's quite heavy so in some US sockets it tended to slip and needed something to hold it up. Not a problem for UK and Europe, where the standard sockets are so much more solid. So, more of an issue with the US electricity system but I doubt any of us here are going to get that changed!

Wanted a charger for my iPhone plus tablet but one that plugged into a socket near to the ground. This fitted the bill exactly as the charging ports were placed on the top of the plug rather than on the front or underneath. My phone charges quite quickly as does my tablet when using the plug. Added bonus was that I can take the plug abroad and use the accompanying adaptor. Would definitely recommend this item especially if your sockets are low to the ground.

Had it a while and use it to charge my camera, 2 spare batteries, and tablet, sometime simultaneously. Seems to cope with everything I throw at it. Really bought it to minimize the number of charger leads I need to take with me when away, and also the number of mains sockets required in a hotel room. Haven't had a chance to use it away from home yet but it looks like it can take the strain. Seems pretty solid.

This Ennotek 4 port USB charger is of great use to me when travelling. Compact design and have used it when charging iPad, iPhone and my DSLR camera batteries using the different plug adapter configurations.A very handy piece of kit and good quality too
