Well made with good stitching, quality elastic to keep things in place, the extra pouch when opened up is about 18cm x 18cm, the 2 ice packs are filled with a liquid, the packs are 17.5cm x 6.5cm x about 1cm thick. The icepack instructions state to put in freezer 7-8 hours before use, could keep things cool for 6-8 hours depending on exterior heat and each ice pack can be used for 2-3 years repeatedly also states non toxic and non corrosive. This set has been working well so far, I love the sturdiness of it and the wrist strap is good for when hands are full.

I have to confess, I am not diabetic and won’t be using this for insulin pens. I work in a travel vaccination clinic and wanted something sturdy and that could be securely closed in which to carry my vaccines once I’ve reconstituted them, into the treatment room to administer. This box/case fits the bill perfectly. It similarly is the perfect size for insulin pens and has space for the additional bits and bobs you would have like lancets, needles and test strips.The cool packs provided are an added bonus.Great quality
