High Efficiency Quiet Adjustable Multi-Speed Aquarium Air Pump - 2.5w 2.0 LPM,Black

I purchased this pump to be used as part of a DIY fogger for a dart frog terrarium.After reading reviews i expected a somewhat of a loud pump and i was prepared for this. However this pump is not loud at all, and is fairly quiet.Given a solid surface and NOT something that will amplify vibration, this pump is quickly forgotten about. I have this unit on a solid surface and the only thing i can hear, is the slight humm of the internal bellow used to push air.In terms for my use as a DIY fogger, this pumpis adequate for a 30 gal aquarium / terrarium conversion. The output adjustment is highly noticable when moving fog from the fogger into the tank, infact i have it on about half setting and still think i need to turn it down a little.Certainly a product worth the money for aquariums, terrariums, hydro growers etc.

I bought this pump in 2014 three years ago and it is still going strong. It is an inexpensive pump and for that low price I feel it gives excellent quality. I collect peeler crabs in spring and I use it to aerate tanks of sea water keeping the crabs very much alive which is extremely important. The air pump is in my opinion very efficient and does its job well, I think its fairly quiet and it does a great job in keeping my crabs alive till they are ready to shell and use or freeze. In my opinion a great little efficient pump worth every penny of its very economical price. I am buying a second one three years on as an addition for more tanks and crabs and as insurance against failure .

This is very strong, quiet and sturdy for a small aquarium pump. It is by far the best I have ever bought, as well as the cheapest as far as I remember. In the past I have had problems with old pumps growing less efficient and only working effectively when I raise them above the water level, so it is great that this pump is wall mountable: May put less pressure on the motor and increase the lifespan of the pump if it is wall mounted in this way.Liked it so much I bought a larger, twin outlet version soon after, which is also very good, but unfortunately not wall mountable, so I now wish I had bought two more of these instead!

The product isnt quiet in my opinion. It only blows bubbles slightly and takes roughly a hour to do so. No instructions can with the product at all. Just abit of cheap plastic really.

So far it is working and quite quiet.

I admit I was rather sceptical about just how quiet this would be, I've had 3 different air pumps for different tanks all by varying manufacturers and noise levels, and I have to say, I shouldn't have been worried! This pump is unbelievably quiet!! I plugged it in and actually had to touch it to make sure it was working! My filter is creating more noise than this. Absolutely fantastic and half the price of what I have had before!

I'm impressed so far. It doesn't transmit vibrations through the surface it's on which keeps the noise down however it is still fairly noisy. Also there's not a lot of adjustment. It's either a lot or a little, there's not much inbetween the two. It's still the best air pump I've used

I bought this as a replacement for my old pump that was getting very noisy, the difference between the old one and this one is amazing. It's nearly silent depending how powerful you set it too, you can have one small bubble trail to a cascade of bubbles. It also includes a air stone that is larger than your average air stone and seems very good quality. The pump itself is sturdy and seems amazing quality especially for how cheap it was. I was expecting a small cheapish pump and assumed the dial, to change the air flow, would be easy to break and click as you turned it. However the dial turns very smoothly and is very useful. Haven't had it long but if I run into any problems I will edit this review and mention it.
