Ray Bloc UV Fabric Spray Sun Protector, 32 Oz

I had a bottle of this spray before I moved from TX to AZ and lost it! This stuff really works. The patio umbrella I brought from TX has not faded since the day I bought it 8 years ago and has been in the AZ sun for the past 2 years. Mind you I only sprayed it when I first got it. The bottle was lost in the move so I bought another and sprayed all my patio furniture as the cushions are cloth. This spray will help extend the life of fabrics for years to come! This brand also makes water repellant spray that is fantastic for wet climates!

Sprayer works well with both fine spray and stream choices. I will see how well the cloth umbrella I used it on survives the summer sun, time will tell. One thing I noted was that the rags I used to clean up extra overspray were somewhat difficult to clean all the agent out of them. I had to do some multiple sink washings to get rid of the residue.

I purchased this product to use on my clothing. I am dealing with skin cancer brought on by sun exposure, and have to keep protected at all times. Special Sunblok clothing can be purchased, but its really expensive and not flattering style wise. With this product, all you do is spray on a coat then let it dry, and anything you want can turn into SPF 30 or 40. I use it on my acrylic blouses, slinky slacks and on my stylish hats. It dries clear with no Oder, feels good on the skin, and is super easy to use. I have also sprayed it on my beach umbrella, gloves, and scarves. Its good to know I can look cute and still be protected!

So, not really sure how much this prevents fading so much as it may just slow it down. Application was a bit much (used on large canopy). You can't leave any white droplets behind (which, the minute you spray there are white droplets everywhere), requiring you to go over by hand entire area you just sprayed with a cloth to wipe down spray. Left a nasty residue on hands and towel used to wipe (we threw it out). Looking at area sprayed vs areas in sun, could see less fading but did not prevent complete fading. To be fair, canopy was up in sun 24/7 may thru mid August, not sure anything can prevent fading 100%.

We have used this item on our newly purchased hottub cover and so far it works great. The area we live in has extreme heat and the fabric spray has kept the cover looking great and repels the water well when it rains and the sun has not damaged the cover at all. Will use this product on the hottub cover yearly to keep it looking new and protected against the weather.

I've used this product now for almost two years and love it. It works great and I spray it on my outside umbrella, seat covers, silk flowers and it works great. I even left my huge basket tubs of silk flowers outside all Winter and it protected them as claimed. Wonderful product and I would highly recommend it.

Seems like a good product, sprayed it on a few weeks ago, was easy to do, but I find the spray tip could be improved as there was lots of big drops coming out of each spray. Dryed very fast, no stains, we'll have have to wait til the end of rhe summer to see the effect. Only product I found to be a UV protecter, ahould be good.

I put this on turquoise colored umbrellas and chair cushions at my beach house. They catch direct Hawaii sun 12 hours a day, but after 4 months I don't notice any fading. That is a huge improvement over not using the product and having to replace fabrics exposed to the sun at least every year.
