Can this be used on looser curls? My hair is very thick but the curls aren't very tight.

Yes it can. I also have thick hair with loose curls and absolutely love this product. It holds my curls all day, eliminates frizz and is not sticky or stiff. My hair is soft and much healthier since I started using it about a month ago. And it smells amazing!

Whats the difference between this and the curl enhancing smoothie?

This one is more like a leave in conditioner. Softens hair.

Does this work for anyone with 2C or 3A Hair? I am a caucasian female with low hair porosity and a milk was recommended to me.

Yes, this product is great for 2C/3A hair -- I've been using it for years. A little goes a long way. I have 2C/3A hair in humid places, and a tendency to frizz. Kind of reverts to 2A/2B in the desert/dry environments. I have dense, medium porosity and medium width hair -- bi-racial Asian/Caucasian. My daughter (mostly Caucasian) with fine, low porosity 2A/2B hair likes the Shea Moisture Hold & Shine Moisture Mist better.
