Nerf Supersoaker Barrage [Amazon Exclusive]

This watergun is champion! This was used for my end of term water fight and I totally dominated the battle with this bad boy! It came on time, to my relief! Thank you, trusty Amazon!Firstly, the packaging. The packaging is made of cardboard and features a couple cartoon-like tide-waves and a young boy firing the gun enthusiastically. Mind you, this beast is a lot bigger than expected so don't think it's one of those teeny weeny water pistols - expect it to be huge! The gun is tied to the cardboard with zip-ties which will need to be prised open with either scissors or a knife. It doesn't have a trigger - instead, you see that blue thing under the nozzle which has three different modes (mention later)? It has a sliding mechanism, so when you grip it and slide it back and forth, it will shoot a stream of water or two. Also, it has a monstrous water tank, I must say - it can hold gallons and will take you quite a while to fill up!It also features 3 different modes: flood mode (shoots in a straight stream, useful for shooting someone in front of you), scatter mode (shoots several different mini-streams at once, great for spewing multiple people or getting someone wet in at least 2 or 3 pumps), and distance mode (which can shoot so far, I tested it from the back of my garden to the windows and it worked like a charm). The blue thing on top is the thing you twist to fill it up - it leaks a little from the top when you turn it vertically or upside down, so be careful!All in all this toy is great fun and I would recommend it to anyone. Others may disagree, but you get a 5-star rating from me, Hasbro!

I bought this gun to take to Thailand for Songkran (Thai new year, giant water festival) and it was the dogs b.........s. It was better than everyone else's gun and I really put it through its paces and some. I was expecting it to break and I would just dump it like many guns I have used in the past but it more than lasted.It has a very good range and very powerful. Initially I was worried that it doesn't have a trigger just a pump action but with all other guns you have to pump to prime anyway before you pull the trigger but with the Super Soaker you just pump and your spraying water everywhere. Only reason this gun lost a star is because there is no strap and it can get heavy when filled but you can always just fashion your own.

My son needed a watergun fo a beavers water fight. This is really great, it hold a large capacity of water but is still easy to be carried by an average 7 year old. The different water sprays work effectively but are just a novelty as they just want the quickest way to get wet! Great fun, fab purchase. Much better than supermarket alternatives as easier to pump.

This is great! The neighbourhood cats have been leaving piles in my yard and spraying on our motorbike. Now when they see this in my hands they run. It doesn't hurt them, but cats do not like water. It is very effective. I love animals but being disabled I don't have pets because I cannot clean up after them. So having to try and clean up after the neighbour's cat has been frustrating. So along with the Cat Deterrent that makes the noise only they can hear, this has made my live much, much easier.

Not as powerful as suggested. Leaks a bit not just out of the cap which is designed to have a hole in it but this means need to keep it level. Not really a problem tho cos the pigeons just have to have sight of it and flee!

I'm fed up with stray cats visiting and fouling my garden and setting up home on my shed roof, so I bought this water gun to chase them, not to mention those giant herring gulls that keep visiting and make a dreadful noise. Since I bought this I haven't had a seagull or cat on the roof so I've yet to use it for that purpose.....I've only had this a few days but they'll be back and I'm really looking forward to using it! Nevertheless it has a good shooting range, it's a pump action so very easy to use, has around a 2 + litre capacity and it's great for watering my hanging baskets.....from a distance!

It's well made, and holds enough water to make it fun and not a constant "filling-up" chore. The range is great (I found to be around 35-40ft when angled up).

Bought as a present - used once then just stopped working. Unfortunately, returns window has closed. Waste of money - don't buy.

Ca c'est du pistolet à eau.Ce n'est pas pour les enfants de moins de 10 ans ! Il est assez lourd et pas très maniable.Mais pour un gamin de 11 ans et moi (30 ans) on peut se faire des pures batailles !!

Im Spätsommer haben meine Nichten moniert, dass die Kids in der Nachbarschaft Wasserpistolentechnisch besser ausgerüstet waren. Als guter Onkel bin ich natürlich auf die Suche gegangen um dieses Problem für den nächsten Sommer zu lösen. Offensichtlich ist es mir bereist bevor es warm wurde gelungen, mit diesem Produkt für chancengleichheit bzw. für eine ordentliche Portion Vorsprung zu sorgen. Weiter mußte ich meinem Schwager aus Gründen der Selbstverteidigung ebenfalls eine Super Soaker zukommen lassen. Natürlich ein schwächeres Modell, aber er kommt jetzt zumindest halbwegs trocken zur Arbeit :-)).Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Zum nachfüllen gibt es einen Kappe der fest verbunden ist und somit nicht verloren gehen kann. Die angegebene Weite wird erreicht. Wasser nachfüllen ist auch für Kinderhände ab 6 Jahren kein Problem. Darunter denke ich wird es schwierig, weil man schon ein wenig Kraft aufwenden muss um die Kappe zu öffnen und zu verschließen. Ein sehr gutes Produk und seinen Preis wirklich Wert.Anders als bei den Super Soaker versionen die ich aus meiner Kindheit kenne, pumpt man nicht mehr und durch den aufgebauten innendruck in der Kartusche ist dann ein langes stetiges schießen möglich. Sondern mit dem Pumpen schießt die Super Soaker immer wieder. Ist aber sehr gut und ausreichend.Die verschiedenen Modi zur Wasserstrahleinstellungen funktionieren reibungslos und sind je nach Einsatzzweck sinnvoll. Eltern wecken, besser sprühmodus, dann erwischt es beide gleichzeitig. Hat seinen Zweck also erfüllt und ich denke die nächste Wasserschlacht im Sommer dürfte erfolgreicher für meine Nichten laufen.

La pistola funziona alla grande ed è in materiale robusto ma leggero (quando è vuota), il serbatoio non finisce mai e una volta riempito si sente anche nel peso. Il tappo ha un piccolo forellino a cui si potrebbe aver messo una piccola valvolina (cosa che ho fatto personalmente) che facesse entrare l'aria ma non uscire l'acqua, un rimedio più semplice è quello di tappare il foro con silicone o colla a caldo o una membrana tra tappo e filetto ma poi bisogna ricordarsi ogni tanto di aprire per far passare l'aria durante l'uso altrimenti la "gittata" ne risente. Ottima anche per allontanare i gatti che infestano il mio giardino facendo abbaiare il cane del vicino (due piccioni con una fava).

Los gatos de mi tejado ya huyen cuando tengo esta bestia en mis manos. Llega a bastante distancia, todo genial.

Bei diesen heißen Sommertagen gibt es für Kinder nicht schöneres als mit Wasser im Garten zu plantschen. Sei es im Planschbecken, mit Gießkannen oder mit Wasserpistolen. Da unsere Kleine seit einigen Tagen die Super Soaker B4043EU4 besitzt und wir im Großen und Ganzen damit zufrieden sind, haben wir unserem Großen (5J.) diese bestellt.Die Wasserpistole ist mit einer Länge von 60cm nicht mehr ganz so kompakt und mit einem Gewicht (gefühlt) von knapp 3kg definitiv kein Leichtgewicht. Unser Sohn kann sie aber ganz gut halt und auch bedienen. Es sieht aber sehr lustig aus wenn er die große Wasserpistole in den Händen hält. Die unkomplizierte und leicht gängige Betätigung ist wohl auch der Grund warum unser Großer, trotz der Größe und es Gewichtes, die Wasserpistole handhaben kann. Der Schussmechanismus ist sehr leichtgängig und funktioniert auch wenn das Ganze mit Sand verdreckt ist.Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und das Material verzeiht einem auch wenn die Pistole mal in den Dreck oder auf den Boden knallt. Kommt bei Kindern ja häufiger vor.Was uns hier sehr gut gefällt ist der Verschluss des Wassertanks, dieser funktioniert hier über ein Schraubverschluss und ist auch ohne Probleme von unserem Sohn zu öffnen/schließen. Bei der Super Soaker ist der Verschluss sehr kompliziert und ist auch für uns Erwachsen fummelig.Die maximale Reichweite beträgt wirklich 10-11m, um dies zu erreichen muss man aber den Pumpmechanismus aber schon kräftig bedienen. Unser Sohn schafft es auf 5 bis 8m. Die drei Strahleinstellungen lassen sich leicht, am vorderen Teil, durch drehen einstellenFazit:Trotz der Größe und es Gewichtes lässt sich die Wasserpistole auch leicht von unserem 5 jährigen Sohn handhaben. Dabei ist sie gut verarbeitet, robust und der 2,2 Liter Wassertank reicht für jede Menge Spaß.
