Starbucks Nespresso Espresso Selection Coffee Set 4 Flavour Variety Pack 40 Pods

These pods are half the price in your local Tesco but as I was getting it same day from Amazon so I thought to give it a try. If Amazon doesn't lower their cost then I will just buy them from Tesco. Now the coffee is actually surprisingly good, especially the Kenya espresso. Starbucks has really done a good job although the aluminum foil on the pods look a bit flimsy as if not airtight. I don't know if they will stay fresh for as long as the Nespresso pods but time will tell. Also it would be really useful if the pods are labelled like Nespresso so you could tell which flavour they are. Another surprise was how good the crema was with these caps!!

The coffee itself is great, the only problem is the capsules dont seem to fit properly, there is a lot of leakage.

I am rather disappointed with these capsules. I normally use Nespresso brand for my De Longhi 550 coffee machine but I wanted to give starbucks a try. I will not buy them again: out of 10 capsules 8 will drip coffee very slowly, takes ages to fill a cup. Also, the coffee is not too bad but original espresso has much more aroma and flavour.

Agree with others....they just dont work well....it seems the coffee is packed too tight as the pump struggles and half the water leaks backwards into the collecting tray. The coffee is a matter of taste and the price is better than Nespresso original, but I wont be buying any more.

Delicious and fit perfectly in the Nespresso. Much better than almost all of the Nespresso blends. Most of Nespresso's blends use Robusta or a mix of Robusta and Arabica, while Starbucks never uses Robusta and is always 100% Arabica.
