Fantastic product - highly recommend the spider spray
I can’t rate this product highly enough and am so surprised that there are quite a lot or reviews that say it doesn’t work. We have just moved into a house with a major false widow spider issue in the conservatory. There is a batton that runs along the whole width of the room that you can’t get behind and it appeared to be full of false widows. They would come out to eat on their webs but you could never kill one as they’d just disappear behind the batton. I’d wreck the webs thinking they’d move on but they’d just rebuild overnight. I have a major fear of spiders, especially false widows as they bite, so said to my husband we need to tackle this head on and buy a killer spray! This spray had loads of reviews so thought I’d give this a go although did feel it pricy at £13.99 but I was so desperate to get rid of the spiders I bought it. Well, no more false widows anywhere so as far as I’m concerned it has been worth every penny - all the webs were empty of spiders the following day (I kept checking) and before I cleaned the webs away, the webs had bugs in them which clearly weren’t being eaten so proof to me it had worked as I was seeing the spiders move onto the webs daily to eat previously. We then had one really huge false widow elsewhere (I didn’t know they could get so big) and hubbie sprayed that directly - it didn’t die instantly but it forced it out of its hiding place and whilst I could tell it was dying I killed it with a fly swat just to be on the safe side. The spray worked immediately on smaller ones nearby that I didn’t even know were there. The huge added bonus about this spray however is that it’s also killing flies and wasps that happen to fly into the conservatory - we aren’t spraying them - there’s obviously residue spray in the room from spider gate and that’s killing the flying unwelcome guests too so the statement that it works for up to 6 weeks does appear to be true. If we get a butterfly or bumble bee in we are carefully catching that and releasing it as I do suspect it would kill those too which we don’t want. Anyway, couldn’t be happier with this product. It is a shame it is released as a liquid as we do have to wipe up the excess after spraying - an atomised spray (that comes out like furniture polish spray) would be much better in my opinion and easier to spray in a targeted fashion - the liquid comes out with a very wide spread too and sometimes you just want a direct shot on one bug rather than a sweeping cover. It doesn’t have a nasty or lingering smell and I’m reassured by the safety statements on the listing too - I don’t like the idea of spraying nasty chemicals around my son especially when they appear to kills things for weeks after spraying but it says tested as safe for use in homes so I have to rely on that and was a big part of why I felt happy to try it in the first place. If the false widows didn’t give such nasty bites we’d let them be but they do so we don’t and thanks to this product we are false widow free now! We will continue to spray as a preventative measure every 5-6 weeks as the lasting impact of this spray will help keep them out of the house.

It works .
This does not instantly kill spiders . It appears to be a nerve agent that cause muscular contractions. Spiders therefore cannot operate for very long on the sprayed area without being disabled. I also think that it has deterrent properties because this summer there are no spider webs on my balcony outside . This absolutely is a win. This is mid July and I also notice there are nearly zero flies and midges on the balcony. Given that my balcony is outside and also subject to rainfall this chemical still works nonetheless. I have a colony of false widow spiders on the balcony which are seriously dangerous . This chemical has wiped out their operations . If you see a spider on the area you have sprayed it wont last long . I note from the reviews that some people dont realise you have to twist the block at the tip of the nozzle to open the spray . The product details says it lasts 6 weeks and this is what I have found. I use about 30% of the bottle on the first spray and use 2 bottles each summer season .

I'm buying this for the 2nd time....
Fear of spiders over-rides my guilt about killing defenceless animals/insects and this works PERFECTLY. I'm not sure that it worked for the 6 weeks as advertised but I was more than happy with the weeks that it did work for. Even worked outside - you know how you get millions of tiny spiders and millions of webs clinging on to the wooden balustrade on the edge of decking? Well, I had set to with a brush and got rid of all the cobwebs time after time but of course not the spiders. This time, I rid the decking of cobwebs then sprayed it with spider killer and hey presto..... we had a web-free decking for weeks. It's that time of year again when they are all creeping inside so here I am purchasing another bottle (or 2)

Less spiders in my garden = Works as far as I can tell
Since using this, I definitely have less spiders in my garden at the moment. And less spiderwebs. I've used to use normal RAID spray, but this works way better. The liquid sticks to a surface so when spiders traverse that area it poisons them. There are caveats of course, rain will wash away the surface liquid, and I suspect it evaporates after a few days as well so you do have to keep applying it. What I do is spray it around the window sills and door frames, and when I see a spiderweb I will spray that as well as the surrounding areas. This includes metal, plastic and my wooden fence. But yes, after 3 weeks I can say I see a LOT less spiders and spider webs. It's April now so will come back and provide an update in September when it seems to be spider party month.

Kills spider, terrible spray nozzle
This thing is very effective against spiders. My garden was spider-infested and one-two spray at each (cluster of) spider killed them all under a few minutes. The spiders struggled for a couple of seconds and died. Sorry for them but they were overwhelming... The chemicals inside the bottle work well, but not so much for the spray nozzle. The nozzle worked smoothly, to begin with, but died entirely after only a few presses. The liquid just flows out from the nozzle down my arm into my cloth and I had to shower to clear the toxic skin absorbable chemical. I still feel a bit of burn sensation on the contacted area. Hopefully, the dosage is low enough. Apart from this, the nozzle only has a widespread action, which is good for treating a large area, but it is horrible to target the spider nests and individual spiders. I had to swap it for the one from a spider repellent bottle which uses a far better nozzle that also has a concentrated beam action. All in all, I give it 2 stars for ease to use because the chemical is easy to apply but the nozzle is the worst. 3 for stars for value - it is not a particularly cheap product why use such a horrible nozzle? Overall 3 stars, could have been better but not a bad purchase.

Works well
I have tried many spider repellent and this is the only one I've found to be effective. I can go about 6 weeks between sprays. Keeps spiders away. Product does not have any weird smell and is not offensive for indoor use.

Absolute peace of mind provided with this product
I. Hate. Spiders. Literally, to me they are the creepiest things. Thankfully our apartment has very few of them - we see perhaps 2 or 3 a year at most. Until a few weeks ago when we saw three in the space of 2 days - they must have been finding somewhere warm for the winter? And we’re not talking little tiny spiders, we’re talking those bigger ones with long legs that can run fast! I purchased this product as it ticked all the boxes - my main one being it has no scent so I can use it indoors. I sprayed it all around our windows (inside and out) and doors, and behind large furniture items like our bed and chest of drawers (just in case any were lurking there). Ive not seen a spider inside since! Now, I’m realistic enough to know that since we usually don’t see many spiders then perhaps those three were all the ones inside anyway. I have, however, seen a dead spider outside our living room window which I’m telling myself is because the spider crawled over the residue this spray leaves behind and dies - and it helps me sleep better at night!! I did see a spider in the hallway outside our apartment - so I tried spraying it directly and can confirm it did almost instantly kill the spider and it dropped to the ground. It has made me realise that depending on where the spider is in the room when you spray it, it might drop behind furniture and you will forever wonder if it died or is secretly raising an angry family of spiders that will seek their revenge… I’d strongly recommend this product and will purchase again when this spray runs out (which will be a while as it doesn’t take much to protect your home).
