**Q: does it work on a svartpilen 401?**
A: I use it on my 2019 R1. I took off the straps and plastic clip-on's that come with the bag, and instead use bungee Cords with carabiner hooks.
Works much better this way for me. Plus, I can place it on my back as a back pack when walking the trail. Hope this helped u.
