Corsair Katar Optical FPS/MOBA Gaming Mouse (8000 DPI Optical Sensor, Ambidextrous, 4 Programmable Buttons, Red LED Multi-Colour Backlighting, Xbox Compatible) - Black

Excellent mouse, bought for £24.99 so pretty much a bargain for an 8000dpi optical mouse. I bought this as a secondary mouse basically just to play quake live with as this mouse is only 85g weight. My other mouse is a corsair scimitar which I have to say is a little more comfortable for my uses in day to day but for fps games the Katar is the far better choice being much lighter and it just feels more responsive. I dont think you can get a better mouse at this price. I suppose the steelseries rival 100 is a good choice but I am not a fan of the DPI settings not having much customisation. The Logitech g302 is decent too but comes in at £10 more, not worth it over this imho. This mouse does not have fancy rgb lights like some of corsair's more premium mice but the sails logo does glows red. Also it is much brighter than the rgb lights on my scimitar. You also have a few professional games profiles to try out in the mouse although I have not felt the need to try any myself the option is there. For anyone considering this mouse as a secondary mouse and also owns a corsair mouse at the moment don't worry about software conflicts if you have both plugged in at the same time like I do. The software picks up both mice at the same time so you can just pick up the mouse and play with whichever one you like without issue. I know it is rare that people have 2 mice connected at once but I know a few people who prefer different mice for different game types. For example I use my scimitar mainly for guild wars 2 and day to day uses, the Katar is for all my twitch shooters and fps games like quake live and doom. I will end by saying this mouse will be a little small for people with average sized hands if you use a palm grip. This is mainly a fingertip/claw grip style mouse so if you do use a palm grip I would advise a larger mouse for most people with an average hand or larger.

It is very good in many respects, however as I like to rest my hand on the mouse, I found the buttons to be too sensitive and the weight of my hand can trigger the right click, as such, I returned it.

I love this mouse. It is comfy, the perfect size for my hand, has a nice rubberised grip either side and is also super responsive, even below the highest DPI setting which is 8000. Using the scroll wheel feels nice and softly clicks as it is turned. I play a lot of PC games and this is perfect for gaming as well as regular use.There is also a program you can download to tinker with various settings.You can turn the LED logo off via the program if you want to. You can also change how the logo light behaves and how bright it is.

This mouse feels like pure luxury in your hand. Its on the smaller side but still fits very nicely in my large hands. The soft touch feel really adds quality to the product making it a pleasure to use for longer periods. I especially like the one click sensitivity button located between the left and right mouse clickers. I was going to go for a a £10 mouse from Amazon but I'm glad i spent a bit more and got a trusted brand and great product.

I spent about 5 hours looking through countless mice on amazon. This is that hidden gem find for a mouse.I'm a big MOBA player and I often struggle with those MMORPG mice etc. which have all those clunky buttons on the side that just get in the way of my gaming.The pimpled rubber material on the side of the mouse is great for grip. Exactly what i needed.It weighs just 84g! Not something i'm used to as I'm always using your standard chunky mouse that comes with the PC. The smoothness of the mouse on the mat is great and the sensitivity is phenomenally fast, takes some getting used to but it's beneficial for those MOBA/FPS players looking for quick movements, reacting and fast clicking.

Used this mouse for just over a year now, and recently its developed a double click bug. After searching on the internet i've seen alot of issues with my mouse and the entire range of Corsair mice. Whoever they get to make them is not doing it the usual high standards of Corsair. I recommend staying away from Corsair mice until quality control improves alot :/

This Corsair mouse is ok but I have used better, one issue is I often find when my hand is just resting on the mouse - the left button will click very easily, which sometimes when gaming is not ideal.

Vengo de un Logitech G3 de hace más de una década y la verdad es que salvo por la falta de botones laterales, no tiene nada que envidiarle. Una gran opción si eres zurdo (si, el diseño es verdaderamente cómodo en ambas manos) , lo recomiendo en relación calidad-precio a todo el mundo.

Satisfait de cette souris.Enfin une souris de petite taille, je l'ont peut presque englober dans la main, simple et agréable à la fois.Je la recommande à ceux qui n'aiment pas les souris trop longues car je sais à qu'elle point il est difficile de trouver une bonne souris, pas trop grande, de bonne qualitée et à prix correct.Pour l'accompagner, un logiciel simple et intuitif dans le réglage des DPI, même pour ceux qui , comme moi n'on pas l'habitude de ce type de souris .Concernant le logo lumineux, pas grand chose à dire , ça donne son charme, mais couleur unique donc il ne faut pas être trop exigent de ce côté.

Ich hatte eine Microsoft Mouse, weil ich kein Gamer bin und sah für eine Gaming Mouse auch keinen Grund. Nachdem die Microsoft Mouse aber ständig irgendwelche Probleme hatte, meinte mein Sohn, dass es kein Wunder sei - die taugen nämlich nichts. Ich kaufte keine andere und ärgerte mich ständig weiter. Bei einer Aktion habe ich es dann doch gewagt und was soll ich sagen, mein Sohn hat Recht. In jeder Hinsicht besser: die Ergonomie und auch die fehlerfreie Funktion. Man muss also doch kein Gamer sein. Und zu groß ist sie auch nicht - für Frauen sehr gut geeignet.

Ottimo mouse, comodo, bello, elegante e preciso. Nè eccessuvamente grande nè eccessivamente piccolo, è grande il giusto e si impugna benissimo.

Supergute günstige Gamingmaus, schönes Design, liegt gut in der Hand und die DPI's lassen sich ohne Software hinter dem Rad einstellen, das ist cool, im Spiel wirkt sich das dann aus als hätte man die Mausempfindlichkeit anderst eingestellt. Ist jetzt keine HighEnd Gaming Maus mit zig Makrotasten aber supergute Entry Maus vom Markenherstellen für den kleineren Geldbeutel
