Been using this product for a while now, lathers up good, leaves me feeling clean with soft skin. It's good to know there is no nasty chemicals in this product just pure olive oil.

I love that this soap is all natural. I am looking to cut down on plastic bottled shower gel, shampoos, face wash, hand wash etc and contain chemicals and other synthetics. The soap is great, keeps skin soft, is unscented and we use it for face and hair too. You can also shave some of the soap for a moisturising bath, adding some coconut oil. Ideal for the young children, who love it. We travel with just the one soap for the whole family. Highly recommend the product itself, despite the packaging and transportation involved with all amazon deliveries. Update: I am coming back to order another pack of 6 soap bars after 18 months. We’ve used them continually in our family of 4, and I also gave one away to my father to try out. The soaps are long lasting and genuinely multi purpose. This is all we need to stay clean while not stripped of natural oils and I haven’t bought a commercial plastic bottled soap, shower gel or shampoo in that time. It might take some getting used to at first, but the pure olive soap bar is excellent.

I discovered olive oil soap years ago whilst on holiday in Crete, where it's widely available and cheap as chips. On returning to the UK I found it hard to find in any shops and damned expensive if you could find it. Hence I was delighted to find this resonably priced package deal. I knew what I hoped to expect from Crete, which was a pure natural, unscented product made from olive oil that lathered pretty well, didn't irritate my skin as some artificially scented soaps have and left my skin feeling smooth and good. I was not disappointed. This is indeed the same stuff, albeit in smaller bars. It lathers just as well, is equally kind to the skin and also works well on my rather dry hair, leaving it feeling well-conditioned without the use of shampoo or conditioner. Now that's what I call a bonus! I note that a few reviewers have complained about the smell. I guess that just depends on how you feel about the smell of olive oil, since that's what this is. Personally, I like it, it's mild, natural and sort of earthy or herby I guess you'd call it. I should also say that I've been showering and hairwashing regularly with the first bar for weeks now and there's still about half of it left. This makes for a damn good value package that will last me and two kids for months. Delighted!

This soap really is good, and the price for the multi buy makes it fairly economical as well. It is a no frills soap, but is very kind to the skin of the whole family and does the job. When it comes to soap how many frills do you need? The only downside I can think of is that if left wet, or with a little water under it, this soap is messier than some. You will come back to find a kind a olive oil glue underneath. As long as you have a soap dish this won't be a problem.
