Whisper quiet, very effective.
These are amazing little fans. Compact, whisper quiet, do exactly what they are designed to do. I originally wanted to buy slightly bigger versions and was concerned these wouldn't be strong enough, but they keep a 4-disk RAID and 2 other spinning disks cool, even on the lowest setting. On very hot days (e.g. 36ยฐ), I raise the speed from low to medium and that's enough to keep everything cool. Highly recommended.

Saving my games consoles from burnout
I have a tv cabinet that is wall-mounted and a panel door that keeps it shut from IKEA. Looks good but terribly designed in letting my consoles vent. I manually cut vents into the sides and fitted a metal grill to cover my handiwork but the heat was still trapped to a large extent and I was worried my consoles would just burn out as it's on for most of the day (for gaming as well as streaming tv). These vents are very well built, not cheap plastic, and very easy to install. Operates very quietly and smoothly and turns on with my xbox which is all I need. Huge difference and immediate improvement as I had them facing the grills and now it just pulls and expels the hot air out. Life saver for my consoles and should have got these sooner!

All in all well built, good quality and value for money, a little under powered than expecting.
Pretty decent and well built, less powerful than expecting but seem to create cool air Using on Xbox One X as it's in a TV cabinet with restricted space it can overheat when being used on hot days for long periods of time especially in 4K games and those using lots of the GPU. (COD:Modern Warfare etc). Seem to be doing the trick so far, I have one positioned on the left of the console to push cool air in and one on the right side near the back to blow air out. They are on high speed. I have a Kinect plugged in th back of the console but when piggy backing through the fans it will not work so its plugged in the front where my play and charge lead is.

Lovely and quiet, easy to install, quick to arrive
So far, hugely impressed -- I've set these up on a rather cobbled-together frame, blowing cool air at the underside of my MacBook Pro, which was running very hot a lot of the time (REALLY bad for Lithium Ion batteries), and it has made a huge difference. The fans themselves are quiet, and the feet complete the job -- I can barely hear these fans even though they're pretty close to me, on top of my desk. The one thing I would say is -- if you have sensitive devices (external displays, hard disks) on our USB bus, switch off the fans using the inline switch BEFORE you unplug them. They draw quite a lot of power, and the jolt if I just unplug them is enough to crash my displays, which in turn crashes the machine. But as long as I switch them off THEN unplug, it's fine. I've actually just ordered a high power USB PSU so I can plug them straight into the wall instead of running them off my USB hub, at which point it won't be an issue anyway. I don't often give 5 star reviews, but I'm very happy indeed with these (and they arrived the very next day, despite the covid delays, though I may have just been lucky!) -- and should anything change, I'll come back and edit ;)

A dream for gaming cupboards
These are such underrated fans, using them as extractors from my ps5 that burns in a cupboard, there's not much heat in there anymore even during heavy gaming sessions. Lightweight and quiet even on the highest setting too, a Godsend

Chilly solution to a hot PS4
With my PS4 in an IKEA unit ventilation has been a perpetual issue. I've even tried keeping the back of the unit facing outwards but with the new power supply on the PS4 Pro coming loose when you move the unit I needed a permanent solution that didn't require new units or major drilling of holes. For a low price I thought I'd give this unit a shot and so far I am more than impressed. Keeping it on Low or Medium my PS4 is now cool to the touch with one fan at the rear of the unit moving the air away and the other fan on top where it used to get hot. Even my wife with super hearing can't hear these two fans running when I'm playing now, and powered from the USB of the PS4 they just turn off and on with the console (check your settings to turn USB power off on standby). Definitely recommend this to any gamers with a cooling issue.

really nice quality, ideal for Biltong drying box!
These fans come really nicely packaged, good instruction booklet, and feel very professional. The grills look great and have a nice professional logo on. The variable speed is great - on the low setting they are silent, and barely audible on medium. on Hi you can here a feint whir if you are near, but if they are in a AV cupboard you won't notice. They shift a fair bit of air given the low USB power. I wanted a couple of fans to use on a Biltong drying box I was making. these fitted the bill perfectly. Powered by a USB wall wart I had lying around, one fan blowing in, one fan extracting, with variable flow. I removed the grills and rubber feet which are easy to do, and had to fit a different air filter, which is a shame given the nice appearance of the fans! They fill my purpose spot on, and I would highly recommend them as they are good value and nicely made/packaged.

Super high quality.
I bought these to cool my amplifier down in the summer time. Works perfectly. No wind noise from them at all! And they do a good job. Buy buy buy if you have a over heating problem in your amplifier. The only negative things are that the cord is quite stiff. And long. Otherwise perfect.

Miracle Fans
I just bought a used Onkyo TX-SR805 receiver already knowing that they run hot from reading reviews. When I arrived home I immediately set it up and liked the sound. Within 30 minutes I put my hand on the top of the receiver and could not believe how hot it was. You could fry an egg on it. I knew this was not good. I then noticed that the side vents, one on each side, housed a fan each. The fans were not working. I believe this is one of the reasons Onkyo has a reputation for very hot receivers, inefficient cooling system. Replacing them would probably not be cost effective. I purchased this set of fans from Amazon and set them up vertically at the rear of the receiver, one on the left and one on the right, to push the air towards the front of the receiver and out of the cabinet (I have an audio visual cabinet with doors. I keep the doors open). This setup produced cooling and the fans were powerful enough to push the air out of the cabinet but the cooling was only fair. I was not satisfied since the receiver top was still hot, though not as hot as before. I now proceeded to lay both fans on the hottest sections of the receiver venting the hot air out of the receiver and was amazed at the results. The receiver cooled down so much that when I touched the top of the receiver I felt no heat. I ran my hand across the top of the fans and I felt the hot air being drawn out completely. By the way the setting I have it on is HIGH. I didn't try medium or low since this receiver produced atomic heat. The receiver remained pretty cool with this second setup. I just purchased another set to stand up at the rear of the receiver (as was my first setup) to push the hot air forward away from the front of the receiver, as I plan to elevate on 4 columns (4 black pepper shakers from Dollartree-perfect size-about 1/8" taller than fans) my turntable. It remains pretty stable. As mentioned previously, I have my audio visual components (8 in total) enclosed in a cabinet with doors. There is an open back and the doors swing out and to the side and back, out of the way, making it perfect for my rig. Will probably update with photos once everything is in place. Definitely recommend these fans. Especially for the price. I was going to buy AC Infinity's more expensive setup with the 3 fans that lays on top of the receiver and vents out the rear but didn't want to spend $119 for it. I read in the reviews that it was a little noisy and that thermostat is inaccurate. Two sets of fans for $30 and 4 black pepper shakers from the Dollar tree (come in a set with salt) for a total of $34 Will actually do a better job because you are using 4 fans this way, which can be Daisy chained compared to only 3 fans with the $119 rig. As a former Marine we are taught to improvise and improvising can save beaucou bucks. Wishing you the best and God bless. UPDATE:. Just received the second set of fans and set them up at the rear of the receiver to push the air out of the front of the cabinet. Fan setting is on high for all the fans. Works marvelously! Haven't purchased the pepper shakers yet from Dollartree (was there today and forgot-set it up earlier with two of the shakers-one salt white and the other pepper black-work perfect!) so I have the turntable set up on empty medicine bottles. Supports the turntable steadily. Bottom of turntable is not hot as air extracted upwards from receiver vents is immediately being forced forward by rear fans and forced out of the front of the cabinet. These fans are GREATTT! I can feel the hot air being pushed out the front when I stand in front of the cabinet. Feels like a furnace is on. Really glad I found these on Amazon because this is really a great receiver and was concerned that it would sizzle out on me. Now I have to figure out how to hide the wiring on the floor. Pictures enclosed for viewing fan setup and turntable elevation. Wishing you all the best.

Quiet and nice.
working well for about 6 months now. very quiet. use it to remove hot air from AV system. only crib is that the wire is kind of thick and long. it may be a blessing for others who need to run the wire longer. I use a dedicated usb power supply (1mA) to power it. dont want to load the USB port of my receiver all the time.
