Do a nice job for not a lot of money.
Not sure what people are expecting at just over a £1 a bit! I found these to do their job well if you just follow the instructions and take your time. Use plenty of water, apply steady moderate pressure, allow the bit to do the work and you'll be rewarded with a nice clean cut. I've cut quite a few holes with the same bit without any significant wear. Of course they're not going to last forever at this price, but that's the point. If you're a professional tile fitter then obviously go elsewhere.

Hand drill kit
I've used these to drill cable holes in glass for converting bottles etc to light fittings. Go slow and steady, spray some water and start at an angle as suggested and you'll get pretty good results. I used a bettery operated hand drill and it was fine. Getting the little glass disc out of the bit can be tricky but just takes a little patience.

Fantastic Value
For this price you cannot go wrong if you are a DIYer. I've only used 2 of the bits, but on very hard Porcelain floor tiles that my impact hammer drill bits barely scratched! (In fact I broke 2 of those). I used the 22mm to drill 4 holes and the large 50mm to drill 2. Looking at the videos on YouTube, they drilled through in about the same time as the much more expensive bits. Drill slow and dip them in water often. Be aware that there IS a knack to getting them started (which you can find on YouTube). The more expensive ones come with a non-slip template to get started. Practice on an old bit of tile before going for it and you'll be fine.

Great core drills - recommended
I purchased two sets of these as they are tile drills and if you have a lot of holes to drill then they will wear out. My tiler actually recommended these core cutters over everything Screwfix etc sell as a tile drill.Very accurate and fast cutting. Great price and would definitely buy again. It would be nice if you could buy individual replacements as my 8mm one has is completely trash now (my fault it over heated).Make sure you use water when drilling tile. I use a cup of water and dip in every now and then. Cleaning the bit after every hole using a small drill bit. With the two 8mm I’ve drilled 36 holes through quality hard tile.I would recommend getting a suction type drill guide to use in conjunction as this will assist in getting your hole accurately positioned. Use the guide to start the hole and then finish without the guide in place. You can get these on amazon with varying cost and delivery timing - Just type B07VXG9CPW in the search box. I used an erbauer one just because it was in stock at screwfix, but they are all much the same thing.

Good value, but impossible to accurately start the drill bit
The dill bits are good value for money and do have good cutting power. However on certain tiles it is near on impossible to start the drill bit in an accurate manner (and yes I am starting the drill bit on an angle to help start the cut).It therefore would have been beneficial to have a pilot drill to support accurate drilling. What I ended up doing was using regular tile drills to start the hole, then proceeded to use these drill bits for a more efficient/quicker cut.

Fantastic tile drill bits
Great set of hole drill bits for tiles and the price is really good value. Needed the 40mm one to put a hole through tough bathroom tiles and it went through really well! I had previously had to drill standard 6mm holes in these tiles with the arrow drill bits and it was a real pain and killed three drill bits to get 12 holes in total. Used a bog standard cordless drill in one hand and a spray bottle in the other to keep the bit cool and it was a piece of cake appart from a bit of slippage at the start which are the marks around the hole you can see in the picture but these will be hidden by the mirror anyway :) Can't go wrong with this quality for the price!!! Only drilled a few holes so can't really comment on durability but they work just fine if drilling slowly, no hammer action and spraying to keep cool.

Great tool for drilling holes in tiles
I bought this cutter to make two 40mm holes in ceramic bathroom wall tiles, the cuts were clean and without any chips. What is difficult to get a grip of is the initial start even trying to drill a C shape by angling the tile was not that easy. I was able to master a technique that allowed me to drill without any slippage. Diamond rim appears to still be sharp after 2 cuts however on the smaller 22mm one I have managed to blunt it as the tile had some adhesive on the back the cutter now appears to be blunt, will try to sharpen it and see if it still cuts! but overall I am happy with what I needed this tool to do.

Lots of water and slow drill speed and they're excellent
Read and follow the instructions and you'll be fine with these. I've used three of them of various sizes on porcelain tiles 10mm thick and found them all to be very good. Use your drill in normal mode "NOT HAMMER" and go really slowly and have a sprayer with clean water handy and you'll be through in a minute or so. Use a screw driver or something similar to get the core cutting out of the centre hole after each hole.
