Once opened are you supposed to store in the fridge and does anyone know how long you can store it once opened

After opening I store it in the fridge and have used it after storing it this way for twelve months without any harmful effects. The product is fermented in production which helps to preserve it. Incidentally it is a great product and I recommend it.

I cannot see in photo or have ever heard of wheat in this product, ingredient photo does NOT show wheat, basically it is chilli and fermented soy bean, google it and see how it is made by families in Korea. Age is quality when homemade.

Does this product containany form of alcohol? As korean pepper paste usually contains some sort of alcohol such as rice wine, ethanol or red wine etc?

it does contain alcohol but only a very small amount 3% spirits which I assume would evaporatevwhen cooked.
