UGREEN USB Sound Card DAC USB to 3.5mm Aux Headphone Jack Audio Adapter

I bought this to solve a long-running issue with my Dell Precision Workstation PC with poor quality internal audio. Audio via HDMI gave intermittent crackles, and if I went via the 3.5mm audio port I could get annoying 'pops' on my speakers. This little gadget has solved all those problems. It plugs into a USB port and has connections for both headphones and mic. I have the 3.5 mm cable from my speakers plugged into it and the sound quality is excellent, and loud! It's handy that it's on a small lead so that it doesn't put any stress on the USB port. Amazing to think this replaces a sound card in the PC, given that it's so small. I haven't used the mic function. Bear in mind that if you have a TRRS plug (the jack with the 3 black lines - used where you have earphones and mic together on the same plug) it won't work with this. Highly recommended!

Perfect solution for my need which was to be able to listen to audio on my computer with full use of my headset whilst being able to hear sounds from my nintendo switch. If you're like me and want to get nintendo switch audio through your headset for dual monitor play and even being on discord with friends etc, you'll need a ZIOCOM Ground Loop Noise Isolator or other branded noise isolator to plug the 3.5mm jack into which then plugs into this usb sound card, this completely eliminates the feedback noise of the electricity which is horrible - plug the jack into the usb sound cards microphone port and on your sound options in windows right click the usb sound card on the recording tab click properties and enable "listen to this device" - you'll get perfect sound clarity. This is a new solution for me as my older method is no longer viable as realtek audio drivers are terrible and im no longer using a soundcard for my headset and use motherboard ports instead. I quite like Ugreen audio products, I have a few of their cables and really like the quality - this sound card is an ideal affordable and very compact solution.

Very well priced, no-nonsense audio interface. Get yourself off the ground for recording and streaming easily on any computer be it Mac or PC. With a usb-c adapter it will work on a phone roo. Only didn't mark it 5 stars as I think the mic input is mono. That's fine til you're streaming stereo music, otherwise no complaints at all.

Works perfectly

I had one that came with a mic, it had a solid connection. Something fell on it and it broke. This design with the flexible lead is far less vulnerable. Top marks

Needed a way to connect a laptop to an external amplifier, after the internal 3.5mm output failed. Plugged in to USB hub, detected immediately (both Windows 11 and Debian Linux), no additional drivers needed. Sound quality is good, output level is good, it is small enough to sit out of the way.

Overall it sounds ok-ish, don't expect much bass or good quality. The minimum volume is very loud on headphones, I had to set to min in mac os and audio app.

This worked like a dream. Highly recommended. The only issue I have is the driver. It always makes the mike input the default, even though I didn't plug a mike into it. I have one on my camera.
