Review: Some good ideas - I have a real problem with the ‘mindfulness’ trend, however with the pandemic my youngster was struggling with emotions so I looked for something to help. I like this book because it is fun, colourful & doesn’t make her look too far into herself. She hates talking about her feelings but we do a page of this book together & just have some time together focusing on the activities. She loved the one where you had to draw the lion out of the cage to show happiness. For info she’s 10. I’d say the range would be y1-y5/6 for most of the ideas and activities!

I have a real problem with the ‘mindfulness’ trend, however with the pandemic my youngster was struggling with emotions so I looked for something to help. I like this book because it is fun, colourful & doesn’t make her look too far into herself. She hates talking about her feelings but we do a page of this book together & just have some time together focusing on the activities. She loved the one where you had to draw the lion out of the cage to show happiness. For info she’s 10. I’d say the range would be y1-y5/6 for most of the ideas and activities!

excellent books to work through with children. Mine have additional needs and enjoy using these books to help regulate. Work through emotions by starting a conversation,little drawing games and things to make. Good buy
