These are great machine needles, I have got a toyota machine and needed stronger needles for a few different projects (quilt, toddlers busy book, ipad cover) where I have to sew through lots of layers and I have not had any problems with these so far. Great quality for the price and the delivery was really speedy (arrived earlier than stated!)

Does as it says - Schmetz are a fantastic make of needle and the colour coding is helpful, though I tend to keep them in their proper cases when not in use, they're very handy. Affordable and well made.

Good sharp needles for denim and other thick fabrics.

Just used these to sew some white denim trousers. Perfect stitching, they worked with thicker thread needed for the fabric. I love the way they are colour coded so I don't muddle them up with my other specialist needles.

Haven't used them yet, but if this brand is anything to go by there are great! Have used their other needles for jersey and stretchy material and nothing beats them..Super affordable too - what's not to like?

I needed these for a bag making workshop I was attending and they were very good at getting through the multi layers and heavy stiffening. Sewed very smoothly and easily.

Finally a brand of needles that are durable. I have a Singer and these work great with it. The singer needles are horrible. I've bought 3 types of singer needles and they all broke or bent. Not these. Infact I'm on my 4th heavy duty project with the same needle.

Good product

I had been trying to make potholders with two layers of fabric and two layers of terrycloth. (Side note: if you want to make potholders, a couple of squares of terrycloth cut from a cheap bath towel are better insulation and less expensive than any fancy quilt batting you can find.) However, sewing through so many thick layers was frustrating. My sewing machine kept jamming and the thread kept tangling or breaking. I was about to give up in exasperation because I thought my sewing machine just wasn't powerful enough to stitch something so heavy. But then I ran across these needles and decided they were worth a try. Lo and behold, they worked. Apparently, my problem was not my machine but undersized needles. These heavy needles stitched right through the thick potholders and some even thicker oven mitts with no problem.Do be aware that these needles are a little more difficult to insert into a sewing machine than smaller sizes are. You'll probably have to loosen the needle clamp more than you're used to and press firmly to insert the needle. Then take a couple of test stitches. If the thread tangles or the stitches look loose and sloppy, then stop, unscrew the needle clamp all the way, and push the needle upward hard while tightening the clamp. And don't forget to switch back to a lighter needle when you've finished your heavy-fabric project, because these needles make sloppy stitches on lightweight fabric.

I bought these to repair denim. They work well. They hold up well.

These are very good sewing machine needles. Tip: choose the correct needle for your project and change needles often. These needles are fabulous for jeans and heavy duty fabric.
