Although Mrs. Brown's Boys is full of off-color words, sexual innuendo, and profanity, there is no nudity. Seriously, this is the funniest comedy series I have ever seen. If you need a good laugh and don't have children around while you watch this, Mrs. Brown will have you rolling on the floor with her gut splitting antics.The DVDs are in PAL format, so you will have to have them translated to NTSC format to watch them, or you will need to buy a multi-region player. If you like the other British comedies seen on PBS, you will adore Agnes Brown and you will find yourself saying, "That's nice!"

Love the Mrs. Brown's Boys DVDs. I have bought series one and two and enjoy season three just as much. I like british comedies on PBS and BBC America but this Irish Comedy is like british comedy on steriods. The language is adult so not for everyone and not for young children. You have to buy a multi-region DVD player and a plug adapter to use it in the USA. For me it was well worth the purchase.

Oh my. The old Mrs Brown is very different then the current one. This goes way back, the actors much younger, an Mrs Brown is bazzard looking. Some of the story lines are the same but just don't come off as funny. I would pass this video by if your a fan, we were very disappointed in this DVD.

I freaking love this show and I can not get enough of it! I live in the US and it is a UK (Region 2) dvd so it wont play in a standard DVD player - you need a multi region or newer laptop in order to watch in the US- I am able to watch the DVD in my Samsung Laptop (2 years old) - This show makes me laugh so hard it hurts

Mrs Brown boys is very funny with those that I see I really did not enjoy this as much she uses too many of the F words and that I do not like I started to wth it but got turn off from it did not see it to the end

Just when you thought originality was gone for good, Brendan O'Carroll has come up with a winner! Mrs. Brown's Boys just brings a huge smile to my face every time I watch an episode. I laughed so hard that my eyes teared up. A nice way to end a long hard day...

The DVD order is back to front when you first open the box. It goes from the latest to the oldest when you open it. I have only seen about half of the episodes. So I had no idea. I got the Series 1 to 3 set as well as this 19 episode set. When I opened the Series 1 to 3 set to check the discs were okay. I saw Christmas Crackers disc at the end of the S3 set. THIS is where I knew something wasn't right. Because that disc is at the very end of this set.You just need to swap the back half of the box set for the front half. Rearrange them. Then you have the correct order of how each episode plays out. On the disc with Mammy's Motel and Exotic Mammy. It places Exotic at the top and Motel at the bottom (on the episode select screen). But according to the Wiki page Motel is played first as it aired first on TV. Every other disc seems to have the episodes in the right order on them.I love Cathy (Jennifer Gibney) and Betty (Amanda Woods). I've got a crush on those two ladies. They are both lovely. And I like Buster for the comedic side of things. Buster looks like an Irish version of a Scottish ned with that baseball cap and his fashion sense and IQ level haha There is only one single annoying character. Maria. Her attitude ruins the show when she's on it. That bitchy my way or else attitude she gives Agnes.The show gets a lot of hate from some. I put this down to the show being popular. The more popular something (or someone) is the more it's hated. Maybe hype makes people think something is going to be super. But then it turns out to be just normal entertainment. Do not listen to hype on this show or anything else. Judge for yourself. You might find yourself ending up liking what you thought you'd never like. If you enjoy this sitcom or anything else. Who cares what a naysayer thinks. It's your needs that need to be met. Not theirs.Hope the two latest specials arrive on DVD soon. Maybe in a month or so. Have to say though they made a BAD call on the contents of the latest episodes. People have been hammered with propaganda across the board on this C-19 situation. They don't want to face it in their escapism on TV as well. Personally I use sitcoms and video games and music and movies as a means to forget the outside world and it's ills. I'm sure that's what others want as well when they watch Brown's Boys.

First off let me just say, as far as comedy goes it really dosen't get any better than this. The reason for a Three Star is not a reflection on the item itself but the suppler... ie: Universal Studios. Cast your minds back to when series One and Two came out, just about everybody rushed out and bought them.A short while later low and behold Universal reissued them again with one differance... they included the 2011 Christmas Special. I like many wanted this particular episode but to obtain it had to buy the whole lot again, and either give or sell my first purchase at a loss.Well guys, Universal are up to making even more money out of us by (surprise surprise) doing it again with series Three. This set contains only six episodes on two disc's and does not include the two 2012/2013 Christmas specials... I think you'll find in a couple of months (when the sales slow down on this series) along will come the box set containing all the Christmas specials.So my advice to you all is to simply save you money... and try to be patient for the complete eight part series as show on BBC television. Oh, and incidentally BOC pictures have confirmed a forth television series later this year, and if that too has a Christmas Special or two, we'll be going through all this again.

It took a while for the critics to lower their noses and began to realise just what a comedy gem Mrs Brown's Boys is!It is thoroughly deserving of all its awards for the sheer laugh out loud, stunning comedy value. It's a comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously, with the outtakes and slip-ups that are equally as funny as what's in the script.Laying the profane language aside, there's plenty of comedy gold to enjoy... particularly the mishap of Cathy Brown's size decider for her bust enlargement!Brilliant stuff!

Love mrs browns boys but very disappointed in the packaging!!! The case is cracked, very disappointed I am hoping they can send me another case out!!!
