Love the size and shape! Perfect for my small kitchen. Easy to use on cooker top to brown before slow cooking. Slow cooker function is a bit fast/hot which one has to be aware of.

I love the way the base stores inside the pot. I love the way the pot can be used as a pan on top of the stove and then just put on the base. It's a good size for a family meal, or smaller portions and the handles stay cool enough to pick up. I prefer this style to the usual types where the cooking pan sits inside an outer casing. This is so much neater. I would have given it 5 stars, but for the fact that I am not sure if it cooks slowly enough on the lowest setting, it seems to be a bit high to me. But, overall, pleased with it.

I love my slow cooker. Compact size was important for me and this is perfect. Being able to use it on the hob is so useful and makes it easy to cook anything with this. Food can stick a bit to the bottom but it has never burnt - I think plenty of liquid is the key here. I also haven't left mine all yet so it does get stirred occasionally. For me it is great

I have had this "slow cooker" for over a year now and have used it a number of times since purchase. I love the size of it, how compact it is and the ability to sear on the hob before slow cooking. However, the disadvantages now outweigh the advantages. This is NOT a slow cooker. It gets far to hot to slow cook anything - I've only ever tried low and medium settings - wouldn't dare try hot. On low, it bubbles furiously - imagine this is due to the material of the pan conducting heat faster than a regular ceramic crock pot. The handles are plastic and one has melted a bit after searing on the hob. And there is no timer. I have never left anything in this pot and gone to work for the day - just wouldn't trust it. I have used it on hot summer days when we want a hot meal without heating up the whole kitchen/house - when I have been around to keep an eye on it and it generally only takes 1 hour on medium or 2 hours on low to get the desired result. I cooked a chicken curry (on the bone) on Sunday and cooked through within and 1½ hours on low. I don't believe this is a slow cooker. It is a small, electric, worksurface cooker that can be very useful but it is definitely not a slow cooker. I now have to purchase an actual slow cooker with a timer that I can trust to leave on all day when I am out of the house.

No not buy . Great looking product but it cooks far to quick and burns food on low . I'm not happy with Amazon I have 2 of these as there was a mix up with the first product and after sending me another they also charged me for 2 .. I'm not happy and I want both products returned . This has to be the worst kitchen gadget I've ever purchased

Used twice and burnt food on low setting after a couple of hours each time. Liquid boiled quite rapidly so may have had a faulty thermostat. Have returned it and will go back to my old slow cooker. Very disappointed

I bought this cooker as due to arthritis I was unable to continue using my pressure cooker - it was too heavy for mre to lift.This model is so handy as I can use it to seal or fry the meat etc in the same pot that it is cooked in.The pot is light and easy to clean.The whole thing is easy to store as I have little space on my kitchen units.It does not switch off automarically but as I am not often away from home this is not a problem for me.I would recommend it for anyone who is elderly, handicapped or who likes to just prepare their meal and leave the rest to Morphy!!

We have had this now for about 9 months and I can honestly say it is the best slow cooker on the market for us. Having broken a few crock pots over the years I wanted something which would last but also which performed as a slow cooker, this fits the bill perfectly. Casseroles, stews, lamb joints, beef joints pretty much anything that will fit in it we have cooked for up to 9 hours on low setting, sometimes overnight and have yet to be disappointed. Excellent product cannot fault it, love it so much I bought one for my mother so we can use it when we visit!

Sehr einfach zu bedienen und zu reinigen. Keine Stick-Oberfläche hilft dabei. Speichert leicht und verbrennt kein Essen. Kompakt aber stark. Würde jedem empfehlen.

Attention prise anglaise !!! je n'ai pas fait attention à c'est embêtant pour la France :)))Même au maximum l'appareil chauffe très très doucement. Il ne faut pas imaginer dorer, saisir voir cuire quelque chose, c'est juste pour maintenir à feux très doux donc pas très utile pour moi mais c'est peut-être le but d'un mijoteur.Dommage avec un plus de puissance il pourrait être top.Si non hyper pratique pour le rangement ce qui est bien car c'est peut-être dans un placard qu'il va rester.

Da es sich um meinen ersten Slow Cooker handelt, kann ich das Gerät nicht mit anderen Modellen vergleichen. Kaufentscheidend war in meinem Fall das platzsparende Design – alle Zubehörteile lassen sich im Topf verstauen und er nimmt nicht mehr Platz weg als ein normaler Kochtopf. Die Größe ist für unseren 2-Personen-Haushalt ideal. Die 6,5-Liter-Cooker sind einfach zu riesig, bei den 3,5-Liter-Geräten passen viele Zutaten (größere Fleischstücke etc.) laut Bewertungen aber gar nicht erst in den Topf. Da schien mir dieses Gerät von Morphy Richards ein guter Kompromiss. Es muss nur beachtet werden, dass die meisten Kochbücher von den Standardgrößen ausgehen und daher ggf. umgerechnet werden muss.Was ich mag: Mir gefällt, dass ich Zutaten im Topf anbraten kann. Natürlich könnte man dafür auch eine Pfanne nehmen und das Gericht dann in den Topf verfrachten, aber so ist es natürlich umso praktischer. Mit dem Prinzip Slow Cooking musste ich mich erst vertraut machen. Da ich gerne ohne Rezept koche und mich nicht lange mit Bedienungsanleitungen aufhalte, war das erste Gericht dann direkt ein Reinfall. Ich habe meine Lieblings-Bolognese mit viel Rotwein gekocht. Flüssigkeit verkocht aber im Slow Cooker nicht und das Ganze hat nachher penetrant nach Rotwein geschmeckt, war überwürzt und viel zu wässrig. Aber aus Fehlern lernt man und inzwischen habe ich den Dreh gut raus. Besonders eignet sich das Gerät m.E. für Suppen, Saucen & Eintöpfe.Insgesamt macht der Slow Cooker einen sehr gut verarbeiteten Eindruck. Ich habe ihn jetzt seit acht Monaten im Einsatz und kann noch keine Abnutzungserscheinungen beobachten. Der Stecker passt ohne Adapter in die deutsche Steckdose, das Gerät macht was es soll 😊Warum trotzdem Punktabzug? Wie hier in vielen Bewertungen schon erwähnt wird, wird das Gerät recht heiß. Ich kann zwar nicht mit anderen Geräten vergleichen, aber es ist offensichtlich, dass ich mich nicht an den in den meisten Rezepten empfohlenen Zubereitungszeiten orientieren kann. Essen tatsächlich 8 Stunden köcheln zu lassen kann ich mir bei dem Gerät z.B. nicht vorstellen. Aus diesem Grund lasse ich es auch nicht gerne lange unbeobachtet, was natürlich dem Sinn eines Slow Cookers widerspricht. Auch hätte ich es schön gefunden, wenn das Gerät über eine Abschalt-Automatik verfügen würde.

Difficile d'étalonner les modes de cuisson sans aucune recette et temps de cuisson. J'ai ajouté une prise programmable pour interruption sinon l'appareil manque de tout intérêt. Dommage le mijotage est doux et donne de bons résultats quand au bout d'une année on commence à avoir inscrit ses propres repères. En fait je l'ai acheté pour son look pour une cuisine américaine, mais le même avec plus de fonctionnalités et un livre de recette serait le bienvenu!
