Great Results by Hand – Restored Colour and Shine! Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) I used Meguiar’s G17216EU Ultimate Compound by hand on my VW Golf Mk7.5, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. The paint had some light swirling, oxidation, and a couple of marks that were bothering me – this product really helped bring back clarity and depth to the finish. Application was straightforward, though you do need to work it in properly with consistent pressure. It’s a bit of a workout by hand, but definitely worth it. I found it best to do small sections at a time and wipe off before it fully dries, otherwise removal can be a bit tricky. If it does dry up, adding a little fresh product over the area helps it come off easier. What stood out the most is how much richer and glossier the paint looked afterwards. It even reduced the visibility of a deeper scratch more than I expected. I’d imagine results with a dual-action polisher would be even better, but for hand use – it’s seriously impressive. Highly recommended if you want to restore your paint’s clarity without jumping straight to more aggressive options

Very good compound, cuts well. Used it to remove some old bird poo patches and it worked really well.

It didn’t make the scratch go away completely but def improved it! Pleasantly surprised. Also helped fade out a chip I filled in on our other car.👍

Utterly outstanding! This obviously won't remove deep scratches but it will remove surface scratches and more! Just look at my pictures! You will get best results using a drill with an attachment rather than just elbow grease! Very very impressive!

Great stuff I just used it on a car that looked like it had been driven in a hedge and several applications of this soon had it looking like it should and it’s easy to use and it’s affordable I’d definitely recommend getting some if you’re vehicle needs a little more than a quick polish

Had two scratches on the boot from a handbag buckle one slightly deeper than the other , buffed out the scratches using this product and I can no longer see them, looks like the scratches were not very deep , it did a great job, very pleased, I would definitely recommend trying this product

First time using this and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s far less aggressive than T-Cut but delivers the same, if not better, results. I applied it with a very soft, slightly damp sponge on an orbital polisher, then removed it using a lambswool polishing bonnet, again on the orbital. Followed up with a top coat of Autoglym Super Resin Polish, applied the same way, and polished off with the lambswool bonnet. Both products shine brilliantly when used correctly—just remember, avoid direct sunlight and never let any kind of application bake on dry or removal becomes a struggle. It has a nice polish scent, it is easy to see so remove, and has a high durability about it. So long as you cannot feel scratches or swirls with you finger nail, this product will remove them.

L’application est assez simple et le produit s’étale facilement avec un chiffon. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le résultat sur les plastiques extérieurs : ils retrouvent un aspect plus propre et plus foncé, sans avoir besoin d'en mettre beaucoup. Le résultat est également intéressant pour redonner un aspect plus neuf à des plastiques qui commençaient à ternir. Point positif : facile à utiliser et le résultat est rapidement visible. Point à savoir : il faut bien respecter la quantité appliquée et essuyer correctement pour éviter un rendu trop gras. Bilan : un bon produit pour entretenir et raviver les plastiques d’une voiture. Je le recommande pour quelqu’un qui veut améliorer l’apparence de plastiques ternis sans passer par une rénovation professionnelle.
