Symprove Live & Activated Bacteria - Mango & Passion Fruit - 500ml.

I have had ibs for a number of years and was recently diagnosed with gastritis. I was in a lot of constant pain, I was fatigued and felt generally miserable. The prescribed medication was doing nothing for the gastritis symptoms and I was starting to get weekly ibs flare ups, inspite of being on the fodmap food elimination diet. I was desperate and did a lot of research on various probiotics. Symprove came out on top every time. The expense really put me off but I was starting to get really desperate, so I ordered one bottle.I won’t lie, I found the taste foul (think overindulging with too many Bacardi Breezers on a night out of your youth - yuck!), but the results have been amazing!! I have been symptom free since I started taking this. I have had more energy, I have been hungry and looking forward to my meals again, I’ve not had the acid reflux and heartburn after meals and apart from a bit of wind, no ibs symptoms! As I only weigh 50kgs, I have only take a 50ml dose. I have set the oven timer and only eaten breakfast after ten minutes so one bottle has lasted ten doses. I have read other reviews where people have found one bottle to be effective in resetting their gut. I will try a second bottle and then take a break and see what happens. For now, I feel better than I have for over four months now. If only it was cheaper, though.

I don't ever write reviews but this warrants a review.I suffer from C-IBS, and have done for years, I follow a strict diet where I don't eat anything that can upset my stomach, alongside a very strict routine....But no matter how strict i was, I would get flare ups, sometimes not for months and other times every other month, I hated these flare ups as it was pain full and the constant feeling of being ill (only people that suffer from ibs can understand) I would get bloated - it got that bad that people at work actually thought I was pregnant alongside the feeling of never emptying my bowls...I also had 2 types of clothes, one for my bloating days and one for normal days. Once the flare up started I could not eat, I just felt sick.I had seen private doctors, nutritionists- who prescribed me "good bacteria" tablets to take, but I always felt worse when I took them, but than I came across an article in the paper for symprove & thought why not, I have noting to loose.It's the best decision I made... I feel great, I have energy, no more bloating and actually feeling hungry, I took one bottle as a "test" and it worked, I have now ordered the 12 week course. Yes it is expensive - the bottle only lasts a week but I really don't care about the money, I fee better that is a great feeling.My advice to others is try this, it does work yes it is expensive but noting is more important than your health.

Really good, no symptoms of ibs and nice flat tummy. I think it also helped me recovery from tummy bug quicker. It’s a pity it’s so expensive as I would have liked to continue with it.

Suffered from stomach issues for 10+ years, stomach eventually was terribly bloated & hard 99.9% of the time, I forgot what my natural stomach looked like. The gasses were violent & trapped most of the time. I can bloat within seconds and have lived with some degree of pain & discomfort for so long I forgot what pain free was. My 2nd bottle is almost completed & the results are remarkable. I still have bloating but nothing like before, my stomach is flat for a lot of the time. I still cannot eat white bread but my life is improving day by day. My digestive system seems to be working better, I used to be very sluggish in this area. I have has a couple of upsets in this area but it was probably due to my food intake (spicy). But rather than be upset for days or a week, I am over it in hours. I have enrolled on the 3 month course, it is costly but well worth it if it continues to help me in this way. It is slowly changing my life. The taste: The first couple of times I had trouble with it, the melon flavour does not come until it has travelled down the throat a bit, & I think detected some bacteria taste which made me retch, so to overcome this I hold my nose & repeat the flavours detected in my head - melon, barley, lemon - this helps me to enjoy the taste & not focus on the bacteria taste.Give it a go, after a few days I had decided to try the 3 month course, the change had already started.

It works! It’s a brilliant product. I liked the taste and consistency and actually look forward to having it every morning.After years of bloating/inflammation and inconsistent bowel movements/ pain/excess gas/gerd/waterretention/distension. I have tried everything with mixed results but never something that worked as well as this product. Within a week I am having 2 very normal bowel movements a day. This is both an increase in amount and improvement to normal consistency. Ease of passing has also improved with full evacuation feeling which was not present before.And all of the above symptoms have improved so far by about 70%. Past Antibiotic use and a gluten intolerance have destroyed my microbiome. So the improvements are amazing so far.However...and it’s a big however, who the hell can afford this? Certainly not me! I’m going to try 1 bottle a month. It’s not what’s recommended but I reckon every little helps. It will be better than doing nothing.I just hope to see the price come down so that everyday people like me can afford it. Millions of people suffering and you have a solution for many. Why not reduce the cost and you will appeal more to the majority! Typical finally find a product that works and I need to win the lottery to be able to afford it. If it wasn’t for the price I would say 5stars.

I was wrapping up my twelve week Symprove program, when lo and behold, on antibiotics again. Now looks like I'll be continuing with the single bottles. My bottle that arrived last week had an expiration date still a couple months away. FYI, Symprove.com explains "Symprove contains 4 unique strains of live and active bacteria, called: L.rhamnosus, E.faecium, L.acidophilus, and L.plantarum."

Very expensive but it works. The taste is not great but not horrible either. Reminds me of watered down apple cider vinegar. I noticed results in a matter of days and I kept improving as days turned into weeks. Bye, bye bloating, gas, loss of appetite, upset stomach, acne, and fatigue!!!

I felt incredible after drinking it every day. Highly recommend it.

Great product but takes 3-4 weeks to arrive. Be prepared to wait. Buy the 4 pact so you don't run out.

I paid a lot of money for this product. It tasted a bit weird. I did not feel any improvements. So, I wondered if there was something wrong. Upon closer examination I found that the expiration date was covered up by a piece of paper!! When peeled it off, I found that the product had shipped after it had expired (see photo). This seems like an intentional cover up of an expired product, an apparent attempt at fraud.
