When it's cut to length can I use the rest in a different part of the same room?

You would need another transformer before you could use the rest of the strip you cut off.

Can they be run off a car 12 Volt battery

Engine running output voltage on a car ranges from 13.5v to 15v

Comes with its own transformer.. to plug directly into 13 amp socket…so not sure what transformer you’re wanting to connect to?

What the max recommended length of led light chain you could use with the 12v charger. Can you join to 5m less together
