Amazing it works on this truck.
I will tell you having a extra key takes alot of load off my mind. Locked the one there was in the truck. In a building. Forgot it at home. It's like crap when there is not a 2nd key and wonder how to get the job done without someone rescuing the situation. These were offered to do a review and my thought was no freaking way. Really??? So I jumped on it big time just like someone actually was reading my mind or was looking out for me in a way. They arrived at home whole I was at work yesterday so ya I took them to work.As new truck come in the old truck break down and removed from service so there are 2 keys in this pack. I only need 1 so I read online about programming the remote and performed it. Easy peasy. Now about the cutting. Winter to a local store and they cut it for me. For FREE!!!! Very nice of them. I thank them too. He said there is a chip in it so needs to be programmed. I said ya I did that already. He said great. Good Luck.I went to the truck and used the fob part to open the truck. I put the key in the ignition and turned it.........Nothing happened.Oh that chip.Back to the website and read need 2 keys to program the new key.Had to go to a supervisor and see if there was a back up and there was locked away. He let me barrow it and I took it to the truck. Used the 2 keys and programmed this key to the truck.Turned the key again and...... It started. YeaaaaNow since the trucks get rotated I will have an extra for the next truck. I really hope you have Good Luck like I am with this and to keep from getting locked out too.I like the price for 2 keys that is a good deal too.

Alarm button too easy to bump
Works as expected after cutting/programming - but alarm button should be slightly recessed as they are on the original factory keys. Frequent "pocket" alarm on truck going off, now have to keep keys out of pocket/purse at all times.

Does the job
The key fob for our Ford Edge stopped working so these fobs are the perfect replacement. We had to have the dealer set it up for us and they work well. Very happy I'm once again able to unlock the car remotely, what a relief. Good product, does as described.

Works Great! Buttons are a little too easy to press, though!
I bought these keys to use with my 2014 F-150 XLT.Programming these keys were fairly simple. For my truck, there were two different programming methods that I had to follow to get everything to work. The first method programmed it to work with my ignition, the second method programmed the buttons on the remote to work. Before I go into how to program these, I'll briefly mention what I like/don't like about them. The keys are pretty solid. They feel very similar to my factory key. The metal part of the key is actually a little longer than the key from the factory, but it still works fine after being cut. Also, these keys do not have any logo's on them.Funny thing is, I bought these because on my old keys, the buttons were wearing out and they were getting too temperamental to press. I would have to push the same button like 5 times before it would work (and this is after replacing it's batteries!). So I got these new ones so I wouldn't have to mash the buttons multiple times. Well, these keys solved that problem - but a little more than expected. The buttons on these new keys get pressed very easily. If they're in your pocket and you bump up against anything, you're gonna press a button. And the range is good too - so you'll be inside your home, lean up against the counter, and suddenly your car alarm is going off, or the doors unlock/lock... So, these keys work, and they work well. But the buttons are very easy to press, so beware!Moving on to the "educational" stuff...These are the steps I used for programming. All though these steps worked for me, it's not guaranteed that they'll work for your vehicle. To program the keys to work in the ignition switch (to start your car), you'll need two of your original keys. Once you have both keys, follow these steps:1. Insert the first programmed key into the ignition.2. Turn the ignition to "on" (or "run") - but don't start the vehicle. Keep the ignition in the "on" position for at least three seconds, but no more than 10 seconds. I counted to five "Mississippi".3. Switch the ignition off and remove the first programmed key from the ignition.4. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of switching the ignition off, insert the second previously programmed key into the ignition.5. Switch the ignition from off to on. Keep the ignition on for at least three seconds, but no more than 10 seconds.6. Switch the ignition off and remove the second previously programmed key from the ignition.7. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of switching the ignition off and removing the previously programmed key, insert the new unprogrammed key into the ignition.8. Switch the ignition from off to on. Keep the ignition on for at least six seconds.9. Remove the newly programmed key from the ignition. If the key has been successfully programmed it will start the engine.Repeat the above steps to program the second key.To program the remote part of the key (the buttons for locks and "panic" button):1. Close the car doors, then open the driver-side door. Press the UNLOCK button on the driver-side door.2. Next, turn the ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times (don't start it - just put the key in the "Run" position). Do this within 10 seconds, making sure the 8th time ends on RUN. When you’ve entered programming mode, the door locks will lock and unlock. (Note: If the doors don’t cycle, turn the key faster. Your car may not have keyless entry if you still can’t get the door locks to cycle.)3. Press any button on the new Ford key fob to be programmed. Do this within 8 seconds. The door locks will cycle again to confirm the keyless entry remote is programmed and ready to use.3.5. Have a second remote Ford key fob? Again, press any button on the remote within 8 seconds to cycle the door locks. Repeat this step for any additional key fobs.4. Finally, turn the ignition to OFF. The locks will again cycle to confirm programming is completeBoth my keys were completely functioning after following these two guides. The most difficult part for me, honestly, was finding someone to cut the key for me. Apparently the metal on the key is too thick for most key cutting machines. You can't get these cut in the DIY machines you'll find at Walmart or Home Depot either. I ended up going to ACE Hardware, and they were able to cut them by hand for $15 per key.Overall, I'm pretty happy with these keys. I'm giving them a 4 out of 5 stars, and the main reason for loosing a star is how sensitive the buttons are. They either need a little more resistance, or need to be recessed in the housing a little deeper to prevent accidental presses. Aside from that though, these keys do work very well and are going to be great spares to have lying around!

2 Ford Key Fob Blanks
I got this two pack of Ford key fobs to program for my 2012 Ford Explorer. They come with programming instructions and it is fairly easy to program them. We have been able to get the key part cut at Ace hardware but that is the hardest part about buying blanks is getting the key cut.
