Craghoppers Kiwi Pro Short Trousers

These are near perfect - the fit was what I needed, good length (I'm a large size 12, 5'4'', but the 12 reg was fine for me). Only problem is that the waist band is soooo wide, leaves a gaping hole so i need to wear a belt which is a pain, but maybe that's just a downside of a larger behind. It would be nice if they had a stretchy waistband, I think. Otherwise they're very cosy, I like the stretch, they're not cold in the wind and they are adequately water-resistant/quick-drying.

I bought these as they seem to be very popular with the walking community. Having read plenty of reviews, I decided to go for the 8 short length. I am 5'3" and weigh 8st 11lb. I usually wear Topshop jeans in 26w 30L. I am most impressed with the fit of these. They are super stretchy, but not skin tight on me, allowing for a couple of pounds weight loss/gain. In the black they are the smartest walking trousers I could have hoped to have found. Also I must commend the seller, Wear It Out. I ordered at luchtime one day and they were delvered the following day. I would purchase from this seller again.

great trousers for golf, stretchy, comfortable and they look good too. The fit is really good and true to size. They was well and dry quickly. I now have lots of pairs in different lengths - capri, short and long trousers and different colours.

I need an emergency purchase of a pair of black trousers to play golf - they arrived the next day and are pretty good - and considering the price, really good! Having read the reviews, the sizes are on the large size but I ordered accordingly and they were fine. A little gaping/low around the waist - I prefer good old fashioned high waist but definitely not too low. Would recommend.

I am a convert to these trousers they are very comfortable to wear and are easy to maintain.my only advice would be buy a size larger than your normal trouser size as the can be a bit neat around the waist,mines fit as I took the advice of other people and read plenty reviews..I have also purchased the winter lined ones and they are warm ...great for indoors when the heating is off and great outdoors.I would like them even more if they came in a 29"leg for ladies,I had to get the28"as the 31"is way too long and would have meant cutting and sewing a brand new pair of trousers (difficulty would arise when having to adjust the scree lining,and getting the tension correct for the stretchy material) I don't think so!!! I wear mine a bit low rise so this seems to work okay..They are designed for comfort but I think that they are reasonably flattering if like me you are not a girly girl..

I like these a lot. For one thing I can comfortably fit the size 10 which is a feel-good factor, even though I know it's really just a label! I would normally wear a 12, sometimes going up to a 14 if the trousers are particularly narrow on the hips, and I often have trouble with gaping waist bands. This means I'd normally have to wear a belt with walking trousers, which is an extra bit of weight I sometimes might prefer not to carry. But of course when you're walking you don't want gaping fabric or exposed skin at your lower back because biting things can get in, and midges down the breeks is no fun!With these trousers I don't even need a belt and there is no problem with gaping. The 10 sits nicely on the waist, while still allowing room for more generously proportioned hips. I haven't yet worn these for any serious walking or tested them in bad weather or had a chance to see if they'll survive the odd scrape against rock or how the seat holds up when coming down a slope the fast way. But they fit well, feel nice and light and even manage to look pretty stylish. Love 'em!

These are great sexy little walking trousers! Unbelievably comfortable - have got two pairs now as I just want them on all the time! Highly recommended especially when you order the pudding in that country eatery and you need the waistband to give a little. Make sure you order a size SMALLER than usual though as they appear differently sized to other Craghoppers - I got my first pair at Go Outdoors so I knew the fitting when I ordered my second pair on Amazon. (Sept 2011)I am updating this review as I have just bought another pair of these (March 2015) This pair are pretty much the same but without the nice pink inner detail (pockets and seams) Also I had to cut the button hole as it was stitched up - not a massive problem but its fiddly and I dont expect to have to do that so I downgraded one star today. Otherwise still good.

Been wearing Craghoppers gear for many years and their older version of these the 'Kiwi Stretch' have seen many years service.Since losing 2 stone in weight however I found the old ones were far too big and tried these new 'Kiwi Pro Stretch' ones.As I'm 5' 1" the short length are perfect. The new size 14 are a smaller fit on the waist than the old 14 style and much slimmer legged and since I've lost the weight I could probably now get in the 12. However the 14 gives me the room to wear thermal long-johns underneath for winter plus room to tuck in a base and a mid layer into the waistband with room to spare.Wear them for walking, golfing and general use.Brilliant trousers!
