Death Wish Coffee Valhalla Java Whole Bean Coffee - 12 Ounce Bag

Had this before and it's great tasting coffee .. unfortunately the date on the side of the pack was out of date , the coffee is still great but i feel they should not be charging the full price for out of date coffee.

One of my favourite coffees, delivered promptly. Really happy with the service I received.

My first bag of Valhalla Java arrived today. I had some really high expectations of a coffee brought to us by my favourite rock icon. I did not get what I expected....Just like the release of the Order of the Black album I got far FAR more!Valhalla Java Odinforce blend is the greatest coffee experience Ive ever had.I drink home ground Java specifically blended to match my local water normally, and Ive tried Mandheling, Civet coffee, and the so-called "best in the world" Jamaican Blue Mountain.Valhalla Java smashes them all!The beans come out the bag virtually dripping with oil, and once ground there is a definite aged-beef like smell.I cook my coffee in an italian stovetop espresso pot from a superfine grind to get the most out of my cup, which I drink white with sugar, and usually just a tiny pinch of salt.I've just drained my first cup, and when I get back from lifting weights at the gym, im having another, getting out my Dean From hell and shredding some Crazy Horse and Genocide Junkies for the next 3 days.The tast is so rich and oily with a real earthy undertone, and a bitter, savoury aroma that wakes you up long before the sweet nectar hits.This coffee has three downsides however.1) I have to order it online, so if I run out I may kill people waiting for my next batch.2) I may never sleep again.3) I cant shake the urge to grow a beard, wear leather and shred till my fingers Bleed!

I'm no connoisseur of coffee by any means, however I do drink it basically every day at work (machine filter) and on days at home (moka pot espresso).I bought a bag of Valhalla for myself and also for a friend as part of a birthday gift, my friend loved and I do too. From the cool packaging (stickers included) and badass/humorous description on the back, to the overwhelmingly beautiful smell once you pop the bag open, this coffee is an awesome experience that I'm sure any coffee-drinker will appreciate.When I say this stuff is strong, it is not overpowering in anyway, just as strong as I like it to be with a rich taste and such a wholesome look and smell from the super-fresh beans in the bag to the black oily gold that seeps out the spout of my moka pot, this stuff is as much of a joy to prepare as it is to drink.Looking forward to trying more from the Death Wish Coffee Company.

Always been a huge Zakk Wylde fan ( from ozzy days right up to black label ) and when I found out he has a coffee brand I just had to buy it ❤️ Bought Zakks coffee for hubby for a Christmas treat . Although far too strong for me , hubby loves it and I will most definitely buy again as a treat / occasions for hubby x

Absolutely love this coffee!I am not a drinker of very strong coffee at all - expected this to be way too much for me.It is really smooth given how much caffeine is in it. As long as you enjoy coffee you will definitely enjoy this!I would give it 5 stars as it is easily my favourite coffee but the price spoils it a little. The box it comes in and the free stickers are a nice touch. Will buy again.
