had a lot of bother with strong winds this year and we have a large gazebo with sides so the sides had one of these on every eyelet so at the slightest breeze or we was lowering the gazebo we could simply detach the side panels or roof with just a few simple presses...good feature is they have a barrel you screw onto a thread which keeps it locked until you want to release when you simply unscrew.. very light and strong although does state on them that not for climbers as suspect they not strong enough for that kind of force...bought another set soon after first as they where a success

Love the colour, the weight is awesome however build quality was not as expected, seems quite banged up, one Carabiner in the set was badly made (see pic) other than that, will see how "rust proof" they are as these will be used in the ocean. each carabiner was in its own plastic bag (waste of plastic) and the package arrived with the bottom of the packaging ripped open.

I had some of these in my bag when travelling as I use them to hang water bottles or extra bags off my backpack. I am glad I had them. When our trailer (loaded down with a 1.25 ton car) got stuck in the mud at an angle that made it impossible to hook up or push out we got out a chain to try and tow it out with but could not find the D ring to connect it together. I sacrificed a couple of these carabiners instead, expecting that they might just break immediately. Sure enough one of them got stretched out and the other looked like it was going the same way but they did not break, the chain held and we got the trailer turned around to hook up. For something that isn't meant to take a lot of weight they will manage a fair bit of force before giving out (obviously don't take this to mean that you should use them for climbing or towing vehicles... but in an emergency they are great to have around).

I like these locking carabiner to use as an alternative or as the base to attach keyrings too. Many keys can become tangled with each other and the keyrings that come can come undone but with this carabiner, especially having the screwlock, it is as safe as it comes. It is slightly more bulky and slightly too heavy or it would have been a 10/10 but all in all very much worth the money if you look for a secure carabiner and coming with 9 there is no reason to use them for any purpose you can use it for ! Highly recommended

Cheap and cheerful. Not heavy duty. Good for keys ect. Not good for any real load.

I love these caribeners! I work as a delivery driver and clip them to my lanyard when getting ou too the van and previously one has lasted over a year. I've lost more than I've destroyed, but hopefully with the lovely colours that'll change!

As stated these are not for climbing, just for general use around the home or while out and about. The main use I have it for is to attache my dog's lead to an anchor point in my car boot. Means sorting stuff out is much easier with both hands free. I also use them for attaching his lead to my belt if I need both hands for anything while out walking him. Also have one on my rucksack for various uses....mainly for carrying my or my dogs water bottle. They are nice and light and do feel like they would take a decent weight. Look the part too.

I originally bought these for backpack camping. When I got home I needed to do some work on my roof before a hurricane hit. I used this particular one that you see in the photo to attach a piece of rope around the perimeter of the top of my roof to act as an emergency lifeline in case I slipped. Being that I am not super comfortable with heights I left the carabiner where it was after boarding up the upstairs windows for nearly a year. I live in Florida so the rope and carabiner were subject to high winds, rain a lot of sun and humidity. Just recently my dad was up on the roof repairing some leaks and took the carabiner and rope off. Yes I know it's made of aircraft aluminum but the carabiner still looks brand new. There are absolutely no signs of weathering and the threads and spring mechanism work perfectly. If I needed to I would definitely buy these again but I have a feeling they're going to last forever so I'm probably not going to need to. As a word of warning they're definitely not recommended to use the way I did on my roof so don't do that but the point is I'm very impressed with how they have held up.
