Bought because I was fed up of having a night light on in the hall all night, and it drives me crackers when my housemate / love of my life of 47 years (naming no names) cusses in the night because he's missed his aim!!! That's my signal to put the light on if I'm going in there the same night. Aargh. The sensor comes on only when you walk into the bathroom, very reliable. There are multiple colours, all of them very soft but they illuminate the bowl perfectly ... I have it on a very gentle blue glow because he who shall not be named has refused to pee into what he describes as 'police station red'. Huh. It takes three AAA batteries (they go into the sensor unit that you hang in the outside of the pan. The light is on the end of the bendable rod. Simple. I love this light. I'm buying one each for my daughters... they too have husbands.

Fantastic little novelty that actually works. The light emitted by the LED in the bowl is just the right intensity to gently illuminate the toilet area saving you from having to turn on a light - blinding yourself in the process, to see where your going! Mine is now in its 3rd year and I haven't had to change the battery yet. Should have bought one years ago!

This actually is a motion sensor, contrary to a previous review. We have one in our ensuite and another in the family bathroom. No lights on in the middle of the night but the lights come on in the loos as soon as the doors are opened. I have bought a third specifically for taking on holiday, not for use in the toilet itself, but to generally light up the bathroom in the middle of the night. Starts off as red, works through the spectrum twice and then turns off. Most hotel bathrooms have no windows and you have to put on the light. When you do most activate an extractor fan which is very noisy, annoying and, in the middle of the night the light wakes you up, and your sleeping partner. These lights are perfect. When placed properly, it activates as soon as you open the bathroom door, stays on for 1½-2 minutes. If you're in there a bit longer just move a leg, it comes on again.

We took this away with us to stay with friends! We set it up snd caused such a laugh when everyone went to the toilet! The fun just went on snd on and everyone left the loo with a smile on their face!! Would recommend it for family gatherings... don't worry about sll the advance instructions you get... they're helpful, but maybe gove the impression that it's complicated to set up! It is simple to set up! We just loved it! Thank to the inventor...give us more stuff like this that makes folk smile...whatever their age!

I like the idea of this product and it appears to be well made. The batteries are a little tricky to get in. It only balances over the rim of our toilet, it works brilliantly but I’d have preferred the arm to be longer and adaptable so I could hook it securely under the rim of inside the toilet bowl. Other than that I’m happy with the purchase. Only had one night so cannot comment on the battery issues some have had.

This clever little gadget works really well, perfect for nighttime trips to the bathroom!. Not too big, & Fits over the edge of the toilet bowl without being bulky. It senses movement and lights up the toilet so it’s unnecessary to turn on the bathroom light & , in my case, the annoying extract fan! Takes 3 AAA batteries & you can change the colour of the light as well. Definitely recommend this product.

Does exactly what it says, was a fun stocking filler for my partner, and friends and family have all found it amusing , It's also handy if you get up in the night for a wee, you can see what you are doing without turning on the light and disturbing the dog. I will point out to the lady's, that when it turns red it does worry the first time

Don't waste your money. I've bought two of these and neither have lasted more than a month. I contacted the seller within three weks of buying the last one, after it had failed, asking for a refund. No reply. Waste of money.

Very handy night light and totally automatic.

El ToiLight es un pequeño aparato que acoplas al inodoro y que enciende un LED de la color que quieras cuando detecta que estás cerca. Esto ocurre de noche, o cuando no hay luz ambiente. Puedes escojer entre varias tonalidades de color para la luz e incluso dejar que rote sobre la amplia gama de colores. Es muy facil de usar y tu pareja o compañeros de piso agradeceran que no los molestes de noche al encender las luces para ir mear, o que te pegues golpes y hagas ruído al tratar de hacerlo a oscuras. Estoy contento con el invento y lo recomiendo.

Eeeewww! I love these gadgets - this is the second or third one I’ve had and, unfortunately, they have all met the same demise - somehow the get caught on the lid of the toilet, or an article of clothing when you you stand from the seated position and then “Plop!” it ends up getting wet in the toilet and that’s the end of it. Otherwise it is much more useful than it is a gag gift; particularly if you have youngsters who need to go at night; oldsters who go 14 times a night (count your blessings - at least you are waking up to go pee …) or, for most men who are convinced their aim is perfect day or night - it is an unmistakable beacon and then less cleanup. It is bright enough to almost be “harsh” (It would be great if it were dimmable) and even better if they were waterproof. You can even freeze it at the color you want to keep (it cycles through all possible 1,000s of led shades) so you cave deep red for Satan’s Turd Cauldron or bright blue for Elsa’s Frozen Toilet or anything inbetween.

Troppo bello! Non sono le solite cinesate da due soldi che durano da oggi a domani, il prezzo è molto elevato per i materiali usati... per quanto riguarda l’igiene di questo apparecchio beh c’è da discuterne un po’.... ogni qualvolta tiriamo lo sciacquone degli schizzi invisibili vanno a depositerai sopra, per non parlare degli schizzi di pipì che inevitabilmente andranno a sporcare il leddino posto all’interno del WC. L’installazione e semplice e intuitiva ovvero spegnete le luci del bagno e si accenderà subito di un bel rosso, attenzione a non spingere il pulsantino subito ma fate girare tutti i colori ( appena ve ne piace uno spingete il pulsantino e l'apparecchio registrerà quel colore sennò continueranno a girare senza sosta). Mio figlio di 3 anni non vede l’ora di andare in bagno :) ed e una cosa positiva! Chi ha figli lo può capire :) le pile non sono incluse (mini stilo) comunque tutto sommato è un bel prodotto che consiglierei e sicuramente è un ottima idea regalo per amici, spero di esservi stato di aiuto.
