Halti Training Lead for Dogs | Size Large, Black, 2m

Repurchase after the original version broke after 3 years of heavy daily use. Absolutely perfect for my 30kg bundle of energy golden retriever, stood up to the tests of mud and rain perfectly, enough for me to know I had to get the same again once the original finally gave up. The multiple hook points for different lengths are brilliant, and allowed me to safely run with the lead around my waist. Comfortable to hold, and paired with a harness offered control.

Easily my favourite lead for my dogs. The different lengths you can have it at are very handy. For the price as well it’s worth having a few lying around the house or in the car. The colour of the cobalt blue is very pretty but not too bright. It’s a sturdy, well made lead and I feel confident when my spaniel pulls me around to his next sniff spot that it won’t break. Washes easily and dries nicely if left outside or hanging over night.

This is a game changer if your puppy pulls. I've tried several lead types prior to getting this one and none of them gave me the control I was looking for. It pairs nicely with the Halti no pull harness as that has attachment rings on the back and chest area of the harness. You very quickly learn to use slight movements of your hand to control the dog by either pulling slightly on the front or back locations. It can also be used as a single lead attached to the back harness ring and this allows more freedom for your dog, without being too long. In total I would guess about 8 feet including the back part of the harness, so ample for exploring through the undergrowth without being able to run off. The lead is very comfortable to hold and seems to be quite strong. I bought the medium lead as it is slightly wider, in fact it's the ideal size for my hand, and it is capable of handling more pulling weight. The only criticism I have is that the clasps are not lockable and I have had the smaller one, which I had attached to the last ring to create a handle at the time, open up once but luckily I had a good hold of the lead around my hand. Very pleased so far.

This is a fantastic training lead for any new puppy owner, it very versatile allowing you to use it as a single clipped lead or a double one attached to a upper harness D-ring and one one the Chest area, this help much less pulling and better handling, only used it for apx 1 week so I can't say anything about it Durability? I've given it 4 stars however I was thinking about 2 Stars because a: when you clip the top clasp to the upper D-ring on the lead it makes a very small loop which makes a very small handle and the metal clip keeps on interfacing with your hand, also both Clips seem very small in comparison to a relative cheaper lead, ATM there's no problems but i question there durability as my pup is a good old strong puller, Obviously I have no idea is the large lead has move substantial Clips or a bigger handle loop but overall I would highly recommend this lead to any puppy owner especially at this discounted price but even at it full RRP price it a must ha e item buy with confidence

Disclaimer: I generally don't know what I'm doing. Honestly, I really don't. This is our first dog and I'm almost as clueless as when our first child arrived. If you are in the same situation, hopefully this helps you and sets your mind at ease. Packaging and Postage: The packaging and postage was with Prime, so nothing really more to mention - fast as always and well wrapped and protected. In terms of the actual lead, the packaging is the commercial cover, which unfolds to give a neat little synopsis of the lead, its advantages and uses. More on that later... First Impressions: Really nice. Solid, thick and comfortable. The stitching is strong, the leash is fairly soft and the D rings are secure. Put simply, this is a quality product, not some cheap natty nylon cord. Design: So as I said, the cover goes through the different uses, and shows 8 layouts/methods of using the lead - from doubled, to two dogs, to round your waist for running. We have used it on precisely *ahem* 1 setting, as a lead. Don't get me wrong, for other training - Im sure its great - but for what I want to do (walk my dog - simple as that) that's all we need. Also, since getting it, you pay more attention to what people use. It is used a lot - on a wide range of Dogs. Take that as you want, but a lead isn't something you generally buy to fit in - you buy what is best for you. Use: Its a lead - there isn't that much to say. However, in the interests of covering everything - there are two clips. Both are strong and easy to clip on and off. You can make a handle with the clip at one end (as per the picture). It *is* soft for a lead. Longevity: We have a smallish Labrador pup, that is getting bigger by the day. As of yet, she isn't pulling me over...but the lead has had a fair few...stress tests. It has also been thoroughly soaked, chewed a bit and generally used as you would expect. No stitching has come undone, in fact no marks or signs of wear at all - and that's after about 6 weeks. It won't last forever, but I go back to my initial assessment. This is a quality lead. Overall: Offers lots of options (if that's your thing), easy to use and will last. And its cheap!

Now on our third Halti lead! A good lead but part of the clip broke off on the first two rendering them useless! The one on the right of the photo is the new one. The other two broke off the part you need to release the clip at the same place. Be aware!!

Semplice ma estremamente robusto, i moschettoni perdono rapidamente la cromatura ma sino ad oggi hanno resistito ad un uso “improprio” (passeggiare outdoor fango sabbia uso come prolungamento lunghina etc)

Me encanta, ajustable, resistente, no te va a quemar la mano con un tirón ya que el tacto es bastante agradable, es bonita y si mi perro aun no la ha destruido es todo un sello de calidad

Ottimo prodotto, fabbricato con materiale morbido che non taglia le mani. Si può regolare in tre comode lunghezze.

CONTRAS - Ninguna OPINION PERSONAL Me encanta esta correa. Ya había tenido una anteriormente y he comprado otra por que quería cambiar de color y tener una de repuesto. Tras un par de años de uso la correa sigue intacta, como el primer dia. Es muy duradera y está hecha de un material que no hace daño en la mano cuando el perro tira, como puede ser el caso de otras correas que he probado. Ademas, lo mejor que tiene es que tiene 3 puntos donde poder ajustarla, por lo que puedes usarla con 3 tipos de longitud diferente. Es muy cómoda al tacto de llevar, e incluso con sus tres anclajes diferentes te la puedes atar a ma cintura a modo de cinturón o al hombro, a modo bandolera, y poder llevar al perro con las manos libres. También al tener enganche en los dos extremos puedes atar a dos perros, y vienen muy para atar el perro en sillas, postes, arboles.... Para mi la mejor correa que he probado.
