Does this supplement encourage hair growth in places other than your head?

No it doesn't at least for me. In my case it helped my hair and nails to grow quicker. I didn't see that that my hair would become thicker, but definitely grew quicker. Hope it helped.

Is it me or are the pills smaller than they used to be?

I agree that they have actually gotten smaller over the last 2 years. I am a great believer in this product and it has made a huge difference to my hair and nails.

Does this work for male pattern baldness

For male pattern baldness I suggest, from the same brand, the Saw Palmetto. That one promotes hair growth/re-growth. It may be that you will notice an increase of your body hair in general as well. It's working very well for me but I noticed I have hair between eyebrows now and more facial hair in general. I do recommend the product, it's all natural. You need to regrow the hair first then you can think about taking biotin after a few months of saw palmetto. The product is SOLGAR SAW PALMETTO - 1cps a day is enough - hope it helps!
