Excellent
Bought to replace a Panasonic trio which had power fluctuations in the cordless handsets and were no longer reliable. We were very limited in our choice as we need phones which fit a 1.5mm jack headset, other than Panasonic (which we’d lost faith in) these were the best alternative option and I’m glad we chose them. Really easy to set up (it’s still a manual job to store numbers, but it only has to be done once on one handset, the others update automatically) and the sound quality is very impressive. Shame about the beep-boop ringtones, would have liked something with a standard ring option, but that’s just a minor issue. Have been using them for a couple of months now and no complaints.

Nice phone
Although the phone is very nice, the sound is excellent, but to use it isn't so easy. My old BT phone had sync, I put the numbers in once and all the sets had been copied and any change were made instantly on all the sets. The Gigaset is a phone for techies, the BT phone had an easy to follow menu, this one, I have to read through a whole book of instructions, the lettering on the phone is also very small. I regret having bought this phone but I thought if I buy an expensive phone that it would be better then my old one, not so. The letters on the number pad are tiny, hard to see when entering new names. I don't find it user friendly.

Really Great Phones
Use these every day for business calls. Must ensure the volume settings are turned up to full & "saved" & double checked. Then audio will be as good as you are likely to find on the market & limited only by the phone on the other end of the line.Fairly user friendly . Excellent quality appearance & feel.I have had plenty of various makes of cordless phones over the years and these are probably the best.My Top Tip: In case of a power cut, always have an old type corded phone on standby, as they don't require electric to operate, whereas cordless phones do.

Great
Sound absolutely 10/10..easy to set up just plug and play . Amazing what it can do but spend some time reading the instructions ..but you can use it as soon as soon as you power it up .All in all brilliant for the price .

Disappointed with the volume controls on these handsets.
Disappointed with the volume controls on these handsets. Although I have set the volume control to maximum on the handsets, they are barely audible if you are in another room. The handsets themselves are good quality and easy to set up.

A good cordless phone for simple home use
We bought the C530A trio to replace an over-complicated E560A trio. It is easier for us oldies to use, with a button on the base unit to turn the answermachine on/off, whereas the E560 needed a series of clicks on a handset. The voice quality seems good, but we are hard-of-hearing and the loudness in the handset is disappointing even when the system sets it to maximum. The loudspeaker in 'hands-free' mode is very helpful, but even this is not very loud. The ringtones are good and loud. The display is good. We like the ability to silence incoming calls when we want to sleep. We do prefer the 530 to the 560 for everyday use. The latter seems more suited to office/business use. Cannot comment on battery life as the handsets are in their cradles most of the time. Neither can we comment on reliability as we have only had it for a week or so. The trio version was easy to set up. We did not bother to use all the options. Entering over 40 phonebook entries was inevitably tedious; I could not see a way of wirelessly copying the entries from the 560 unit to the new 530, but once the full set of entries were in the primary 530 unit the whole set could be sent to the two auxiliary handsets. On balance, we like the E530A trio.

Generally good. Not designed for headset
Good phones. I particularly like the ability to link one handset to multiple bases. That flexibility would be even more helpful if one handset could dynamically answer a call made to any base; it is not realistic to switch handset base registration to answer an incoming call as the switchover process is too cumbersome and takes too longThe user interface is outdated and cumbersome, so routine phone operations such as call and caller management are not as intuitive as they should be. It is not possible to put the handset into the charging base with the headset plugged-in. This means that every time you answer a call you have to find the headset, untangle the cable, put on the headset and plug the cable into the handset. By this time the caller has assumed a failed call. The alternative is to leave the handset off the charger base throughout the day. What would be even better would be to have the option of a Bluetooth headset instead. Meanwhile physically designing the plastic body so that the charging base fouls the headset cable is shoddy design

Rubbish
I purchased a set of three in June, ever since they arrived I have had nothing but trouble with them. Gigaset replaced one of the non working handsets, the sound quality causes an echo on people ringing us, the ring tone is different on the answer machine hand set than the other two in spite of setting all at the same ring tone. They now sent another handset presumably they though this would cure the problem but this one won't even load in spite of being on charge for over 30 hours.I am looking to get a refund and gong to buy a Panasonic set which will hopefully be fully functional.
