The needles are a good size and seem high quality, however they do have sharp tips, which personally when saddle stitching leather, for example, I don't want. While they're easier to penetrate the thread on purpose when threading the needle, they are also far more likely to penetrate the opposite thread when passing through or just stab your fingers when forcing the needle through a hole. Nothing a Dremel can't solve of course. Overall, they're good needles, very hard steel, and not terribly priced so especially if you want a sharp tipped needle... Excellent.

Amazing needles. Easy to thread, and use on leather. Delighted with them.

Arrived fast. Nice quality needles, I'd say a teeny bit too pointed for children who are total beginners unless closely supervised. Bit too thick for felt but would be good for larger holed binca or Aida. Storage test tube was shattered on arrival, which is a pity. Perhaps a replacement will be sent to me?

I've only started leather crafting but these needles were much better than the initial 3 needles I'd bought elsewhere. Nice thickness, good eye size to get the thread through (I've never struggled to get it through!). The only thing I will say is that one of the needles has broken at the eyelet side, HOWEVER, I did get an extra needle (probably by mistake) in the pack. The case is solid and keeps all my needles together and easily accessible without worrying about losing any! Once these needles wear out, I would look to buy more again.

Really nice to work with. They do come with a nice point. With ten in the tub, its nice to file the point off a couple so that you don't catch the thread. I've also used pliers to pull them through leather and they didn't dent or mark up. So very good metal used. You will not be disappointed in these needles.

Sharp enough, large eye for theads. Only problem is the container looked good for storage but arrived shattered.
