Outstanding D.E. razor blade and made in America!
I've been Wet Shaving for over twenty plus years using a lathering bowl, a quality T.O.B.S. (Taylor of Old Bond Street ) Sandalwood wet shave soap, a Badger Hair shave brush, a quality Double Edge (D.E.) razor, and D.E. blades. After years of trial and error, I settled on 'Feather' and 'Nacet' brand D.E. blades. They are two of the sharpest and durable blades on the market, especially the Feather blade. However, they are both made in other countries, Feather in Japan, and the Nacet in various countries. They are imported into America. I was searching one day for D.E. blades made in America and found the Personna Double Edge Razor Blades. After further research, including on several Wet Shave forums, I found that they are rated comparably to the Feather and Nacet, so I bought 100 blade package. The package was less expensive than either the Feather or Nacet, which is nice. It's better to keep money in my pocket than send it overseas. Much to my pleasant surprise, the Personna Double Edge Razor Blades shaved just as close and smooth, and lasted as long, as the more expensive blades. The bonus is that they are made in America. Disposable, plastic multi-blade head razors are not only really expensive, but they are also wasteful and have to be buried in landfills. Definitely not good for our planet. Metal D.E. blades can be recycled and used again. Please note: The American made blades have a very light laser engraving of the name and can be hard to see in some circumstances. Tilting the blade back and forth can make it easier to see. If you want a very efficient D.E. blade and help keep Americans employed and manufacturing in America, these are the blades for you!

Great Blade For An Affordable Price!
I've been a fan of Feather blades for years, but noticed lately that they're not as sharp as they used to be. I don't have a heavy beard and a Feather blade used to last me a week. Now I'm lucky to get 2-3 days out of one blade! Maybe I've been getting the counterfeit blades that many have been mentioning here on Amazon. BTW, I always clean and dry my razor and blade after each use! Update: 02/05/2025 - Well it's been about a year now and I'm still pleased with the results I'm getting with these Personna razor blades. The last 100-count package I bought had no printing on the blades, but I understand these may be made outside the USA, as the Personna brand has been bought up by other various companies. BTW, I change blades about twice a week, so a 100-count package should last almost a year! I just received these Personna blades and had a chance to shave with one of them this morning. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised! I use a Merkur 34C DE razor and Arko shaving soap. My shave was close, clean and comfortable with fewer weepers. Time will tell how many shaves I get from these Personna blades, but at much less than half the cost of the Feather blades, I can afford to change them out every other day!! I will update my review after I've had a chance to use these blades for a while.

Excellent quality
My favorite daily use blade, even more so than higher end more popular brands. Or even without daily use, it sure cuts through thick beard growth, and keeps it smooth for longer (no five o'clock stubble when using these). I'm approaching 300 uses, and will continue to buy in the future.

Comfort Coated or Platinum Chrome?
I love Personna Comfort Coated blades in most of my razors. The blades are smooth (comfortable) and sharp (efficient). Great blades! But the last hundred I bought were not the Comfort Coated blades I ordered. The packaging said they were, but the blades turned out to be Personna Platinum Chrome blades. That's what's printed on each blade. And they do not perform like the Comfort Coated blades. That puchase was made in late 2024 when I still had a stockpile of blades, so it wasn't until I opened the box last month that I discovered the error. For that reason, I knocked off one star.

Fantastic blades!! Smooth, efficient and made in USA!!
I got 5 of these blades included with my Blackland Blackbird Lite razor. Had never tried them before and unfortunately was unaware there are still blades made in USA. These blades are the best! I have used only Astra SP for 10 years and love them. I recently bought some Feather blades, and while they are okay at first after 2 shaves they are dull and tug and unusable to me. Super sharp dulls the quickest, knives, razor blades etc. I tried one of these and bought 200 more! These aren't as cheap as the Astra, but much cheaper than 2 shave Feather blades. Much smoother than the feather and even the Astra SP also. I loved them in the Blackbird, but man they really shine in my Timeless Titanium razor. The titanium razor is so smooth and light to shave with and these blades make it even better. I wish I had tried them sooner. I'll tip my hat to Blackland Blackbird for turning me on to them. Both razors are made in the USA and now the blades are too! Excellent! Try them and buy them because who knows how long they will be made in USA. To me, these are #1 blade now! Astra SP is a close second and Feather far far behind. YMMV.

Really Good Value
You can look up the history of the acquisition of the Personna brand name - several companies have owned it, but they’ve been made in the same spots each time. There are various explanations of this on the badgerandblade forums. You can also look up old media releases about the sale / acquisition of the Personna blade manufacturing / name. The box that showed up had the Accutec labeling on the side. USA made. The blades themselves are single wrapped in wax paper, no wax dots on the blade. No markings on the blades at all - not laser etched, not inked. This is also discussed in the forums. The Personna blade name is one of the most confusing for the question of “which ones should I buy”. Some might have been treated with a disinfecting wash, some might have been oil coated, some might have printing, some might not, etc. Was expecting it to be a box labeled Edgewell, which is one of the companies that has owned the Personna blade manufacturing. Will gladly take the Accutec labeled ones at this price. I’ll order a few more boxes to have around. Shaves just like the batch I had bought from elsewhere that had the laser etched markings on the blades. It’s a good sharp blade, I get the same performance as a Gillette Silver Blue which are about the same price (and available from the same vendors). For the money, it’s a good value. UPDATE: Sep 25, 2024: these are performing consistent with other personnas I’ve used with slightly different packaging, made in the same place. These were also tested on the badgerandblade forum thread “blade sharpness project” - and they test very consistent as they wear - stay very sharp up to the 12 use test duration. Same result I’ve noticed while using them - at one week in, they are as sharp as they were initially. two weeks use, they are still sharp. Blades like Astra SP, Gillette Silver Blue, Nacet - all start to feel a little less sharp during week two, where these do not. Those others I’ll toss the blade somewhere at the beginning of the second week, these I don’t. These are also a little sharper than the Gillette Silver Blue and Nacet (by experience and the testing at the B&B forums confirms my experience with these). I’ve sold off my stash of Astra SP, and used the proceeds to buy more of these and GSB from the same vendor.

only blades I'll use to shave my head and face anymore
glides right over and leaves smooth bald skin in their wake. flip the blade over between each shave and you'll get a good 4 full-head shaves out of each before they dull enough to warrant pulling a new one out. one box has lasted me a solid 5 years, when comparing that to even the highest revered 3-blade cartridge razors, easily a couple hundred dollars saved. sharpness is right up there with feather and the lesser known kai blades, but not as aggressive feel. i have super sensitive skin, but shave my head against the grain for the longevity of the shave, and have yet to get any razor bumps. i gave a couple to a friend that had been using Wilkerson sword blades to shave legs for competitive road cycle races, and the following day- "woah, you were not kidding, even around my knees, yeah, send me the link to em"

Best for tough beards
I tried them all but Personna blades suit me best. I use a Safety razor and they perform well in both open comb (Muhle R41) and closed comb (blackbird). Best of all is there is no glue on the paper wrapping.

Navaja suavecita
Es una navaja muy suave, casi no se nota que te afeita. Yo esperaba un afeitado más agresivo, No la volvería a comprar pero si me gustó probar está navaja .
