CDHPOWERDio Reed Valve Kit - Gas Motorized Bicycle

First off for $17 there really is only a little to complain about. I've purchased 3 for various builds and seem to get a different quality every time. On all 3 thou the quality of the reed block was extremely poor. Use a micro file to clean plastic slag from reed petal inlets because none of them are open or flush. The reed petals themselves are thin but that is good, with 6 petals on such a small engine it's not always easy for the engine to pull air thru. I do like the fact that the reed block comes with 2 reed petal guards (1 large thick and one small thing) that prevent the reeds from opening to far and helps keep the petals from getting warped or bent.The actual manifold is pretty dull and lacks any chrome shine but that was easily remedied with a dremel and white polishing rouge. The largest and biggest problem with this unit is the fragility of the reed cage, sometimes the opening for it in the manifold is to small and the cage literally shatters in 2 when you simply try to remove it or insert it in, also make your own gaskets because the ones included are absolute garbage. I can say without a doubt thou that if done correctly and tuned properly, your bike will scream, night and day difference in performance and noticeably has more torque than any other reed I've used (G2,RSE,Etc).

I did have some issues with parts out of the box! But come on the price what do you expect? Everything was there and able to be cleaned up to a good working unit. Tinny bit of tic like all these items and ended up with a good running reed with everything suplied!

Complete junk the reeds are paper thin and not of good quality the Reed block is not machined flat , the openings look like crap and need refinished and that's just the Reed block the metal parts have a dull finish not shiny at all and the Reed block has to be forced into the holder (tolerances are to tight).
