Easier than the old way…
I have made thousands of ethernet cables over the years and this simple idea makes them so much easier. You can pull the cable through until it's seated, so you haven't got to get the length exactly right and you can check they went in right as they come out. I don't make enough since retiring to warrant buying a new tool, so I just crimp them with my old crimper and use a scalpel to cut off the excess. I could not get the recommended feeding technique of cutting across the wires at an angle to work at all - they kept bunching up. Cutting straight across still seemed to feed though much easier for me.

Tidy little connectors but too much packaging
There was probably as much plastic in the packaging of these RJ45's than there was in the connectors themselves. One bag would be sufficient, two is overkill but three is definitely too much. However, once you've unpacked all that lot you'll find 25 nicely moulded, neat and tidy RJ45's. A quick rummage through the bag(s) and all looked similar quality with no incomplete moulding or other problems. I'm still waiting on my order for boots and a VCE passthrough crimper to put these into service, but don't envisage any problems. The instructions provided are probably not needed by most purchasers. Unfortunately, for those that do, they're only printed on one side of a piece of A5 paper and one of the most important bits - the T568B line/colour order - is shown in about 3 point type, and against a coloured background with relatively poorly contrasting print colour. £7 for 25 is reasonable but not wildly competitive. You'll also note that it's not divisible exactly by 2, so you'll probably be left with one spare. There are lots of similar RJ45's in packs of 50 for around (or under) a tenner. If you need boots and a wire stripper/crimper as well then look out for a combined deal (e.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0B519WGWK at £27 - note, not tested, but one of several examples like that) which will save you a bit of cash.I've docked a star for the packaging, packaging and printing ... but the connectors themselves are good.

With better instructions a decent product
I made a short test patch cable using these RJ45 pass through connectors. Besides the connectors, I used the following cable and boots:https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09SLSJ1DWhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01DTT28BMBefore you start, make sure you have the necessary tools, a crimp tool, some sharp cutters and a decent adjustable cable stripper. I also found a pair of snipe nose pliers useful to pull the individual cables right through the connectors. In my case, I also made use of some strong glasses. My old eyes aren’t as sharp as they used to be.Making the patch cable was fiddly, though not too difficult. My main issue was with the instructions. I have taken a photograph of the bit I have an issue with. It is the size of text and colour of the text. Also, if you are making a patch cable, it doesn’t matter if you use either T568A or T568B wiring, as long as both ends are the same. It is easy enough to find various wiring diagrams, though if you provide instructions, please try to make them a value add. Not everyone has made CAT x cables before.

Useful
These are the necessary RJ45 plugs that connect to cat cable of < Cat 6 standard.I liked these are the pass through design that makes ensuring the wire colours are arranged in the correct sequence.Using these in anger, requires some other things...Obviously first is a length of Cat cable, cut to size, then a RJ45 crimping tool (and a tester is handy to make sure the crimped cable works). It's probably a good idea before you crimp to install a pair of plastic "boots" too. These part cover the plugs, protecting them - especially the plastic tab that locks the plug into the socket, as these are from past experience easy to break. These are packaged thrice in plastic bags, a tad excessive, but this is the only negative. In conclusion a clever design, which does the job well.

Good Quality
I needed a super long Cat6 cable and I couldn’t find one long enough so I had to make my own.I used these VCE RJ45 Connector Pass Through plugs in blue. They come in a pack of 25 and are really easy to use. The wire strands pass through the cable via a pass-thru hole so you can see where you’re wiring the strands before crimping. The RJ45 plugs are really well made and are very solid. I’m really impressed with these RJ45s.I’ve used many due to my job but these are now my new favourites and I would highly recommend. I love the pass-thru feature. It makes wiring so much easier just make sure you have the correct crimper that will cut the ends flush.

Worked perfectly and were easy to fit with the right tool
Got these to plum in a network cable from our living room up into the loft and back down into one of our bedrooms. Only needed to use 4 of these for this (2 cables) and they worked perfectly. The passthrough design made wiring very easy and providing you have a half decent crimping tool in your toolbox, these will work perfectly.
