It broke quickly as a small limb hit the antena. But the antena ( fiberglass) did not break. This broke where the upper and lower parts attatch. Seems like it must have had a weak casting or something. But it worked fine and a fair price.

Solid mounting stud for antennas with stem mounted load coils.
This so far has been standing up to the wind resistance of my Asthetic antenna with the antenna mounted load coil. I am using one extension and so far, it is holding tight. This is mounted on the top arm of the mirror bracket of my Peterbilt. I try to avoid any low tree limbs, but I still tick more than my share and the whip and mount are holding up, whereas the no name stud I had when I bought the antenna , was a cheap soft metal and the antenna beat the threads out and loosened up in one day.

Looks like its a solid mount , hope it lasts longer than the previous one . Was easy to install and its very sturdy for my 4 foot whip Antenna thats mounted on my Jeeps spare tire carrier ...

Did not come with nylon isolation washer! Could have ruined my radio if I didn’t know any better
