This 6 gallon Glass Carboy is great value for your buck ! ! Not only is this Carboy better priced than other options out there, but it is extremely well made, I have had no problems with it what so ever.

I've bought a dozen carboys in my life and of all this one is the best quality. They all work sure .. I'm just sayin' it's uniquely better IMHO will recommend to all.

This is an excellent vessel for fermenting beer, cider, wine, mead or mash. If you need to read reviews then you want to buy a siphone kit and carboy brush along with a bung and airlock. Those funnels with filters might handy for you too when using this item for brewing anything. If you wanna get fancy, buy a thermometer sticker to keep tabs on fermentation temps.This is a sturdy, easy to clean, glass carboy that is a value for the money.Pro tip: after emptying vessel of your brew, full it up with hot water and soak for a day, hit it with a carboy brush and then to evacuate the liquid fast swish the liquid into a hurricane funnel to allow air to come up the middle and liquid will flow fast and quick out!!

These bottles are good, Italian-made non-leaded glass. The glass is thick, and the bottles are heavy. Just a note that filled with 3 gallons of water, they are about as heavy as filled 5 gallon plastic jugs. I hope these last a long time on our water cooler! The only item of note is that because of their weight, and that they don't have a handle built in, be careful putting these on your water cooler so you don't drop them due to the weight. I'm fine with this, and am happy that the glass is as thick as it is, and consider this a great trade-off compared to using plastic bottles, of which I'm leery of the long-term effects.

Ok if you have a water dispenser I found that getting your own glass 3 or 6 gallon water container is better than going a paying for the plastic ones that you have to return when you can clean and put a couple of gallons in the glass one I think it's great and it tastes better

Barely any Styrofoam and thin cardboard box. Luckily arrived undamaged although ups looked to have rough handled the box. Guess the glass is so thick they don't pack them better.

I like the glass products, I drink water and reusable bottles

Bought two of these by accident and they shipped within 6 hours so I couldn't cancel, I only needed one but a lucky mistake. I now have 5 of these 6 gallon carboys and the 2 I ordered are just like the ones at the home brew store and everywhere else. One had a small blemish that looked like a crack but it isn't all the way through and it doesn't look like it will cause a problem in the future just a small blemish on the inside of the carboy.Highly recommended but of course check your local brick and mortar because sometimes they are cheaper and it's always my first choice to support them but when they are out of stock do what you have to do.
