BEST NOTEBOOK EVER!!! But…
I don’t always take the time to write reviews like I probably should but I felt it was necessary on this product for a couple reasons which I will explain below.1. The whole concept of a eco/environment friendly, RE-USEABLE notebook is just plain awesome! I have tried to switch to my iPad and Apple Pencil for note taking when it first came out, even tried fancy screen protectors with texture to feel more like paper but nothing will ever come close to the “pen to paper” feel to which I love when it comes to taking notes. Not to mention if you need to quickly jot something down, grabbing a pen and paper is much faster then your iPad - unlocking it and opening an app, a new note or notebook/page, etc…2. This notebook by far meets my needs when it comes to a “pen to paper” feel especially considering it is re-usable and scannable to so many platforms. Speaking of platforms, there are so many to choose from. I love that this company didn’t limit you to using and having to subscribe to their own service because that would have been less appealing and probably a no go for me. The app also can transcribe your notes if you choose making it easy for you to search for things. Oh how I spent hours looking through pages for a note I wrote down, “I know it’s here somewhere…” only to never have found it… Bonus points @Rocketbook!3. Microfiber Cloth: I am impressed at the quality of the microfiber cloth that was included. They could have easily given some thin crappy material that would have quickly deteriorated but nope, they spent the big bucks and included an extra thick and plushy cloth that makes me wish I had a bath robe or blanket made out of it! More bonus points @Rocketbook!4. Packaging: Cute packaging however, given the nature of having an environment friendly, re-usable notebook I would think the company would at least have recyclable packaging, this should be an easy change. @Rocketbook.Lots of pro’s and bonus points being thrown around I suppose it’s time to get to the nitty gritty, the “but…” Specifically pertaining to quality control, or is that even a thing @Rocketbook?1. Page cut quality… If you have ANY amount of OCD, this might be a problem. I am particular about what things I have OCD about, lol. Might sound silly but this bothers me a little for a couple reasons, mainly cause the company got everything else on point and let me down at something so simple to fix for an item they want to charge an amount that seems high to most, but I am willing to pay for so is it wrong that demand perfection? I made two separate purchases of Rocketbooks (one with 2-letters sizes and one with 1-executive), two different sizes, different colors, and one being the NEW “Fusion” which contains a few different page styles and all 3 books have flaws in the cuts of pages and some in the book covers (corners). Now, hear me out… a $2 notebook from where ever can give you straight pages, please tell me why when I am spending $34 (1 executive) or $68 (2 letters) I can’t get a notebook with straight pages??!?!?!?! I am supposedly going to have this thing for forever right? This is ANNOYING and a total let down. @Rocketbook - You need to redeem yourselves! *Photos provided.Tips: Clean up old paper notes by laying them on a Rocketbook page, add a title to the top in between double hashtags (## TITLE ##) so that it is searchable later (OCR must be enabled in settings), cross off your designated location at the bottom of the page, scan using the Rockbook app, and throw out your paper notes!!!

Indispensable Tool for Teachers and Students!
I absolutely love my Rocketbook Fusion! As a current student and future teacher candidate, I not only have notes from my college courses, but also have preliminary lesson plans and observational notes that are critical to my field preparation which means I am taking countless handwritten notes. As someone who cares about the environment, it matters to me that I am utilizing products that lessen that environmental impact, since you can reuse the pages. Oftentimes I don't even need to print the pages because I can view them in the easy-to-use Rocketbook App, and just print out what I need which is why the Rocketbook works for me.Additionally, some of my teachers in my college courses don't allow laptop use in the classroom. The Rocketbook is my #1 go to in these courses! I can just write out my notes, scan them after class, and still have a high tech solution for note taking while following the expectations for my courses. The Fusion is such a timesaver as it is so convenient to send my notes to my email so I can review them at my convenience. This has come into handy often. Case in point, I left my Rocketbook at home and I needed my notes for a school project, but couldn't drive two hours to go home, pick up my Rocketbook, and drive back with it because I needed them to collaborate with my colleagues. (Honestly it was embarrassing to admit that I left my notes at home too!) But because I had my notes both in my Rocketbook App and in my email, I could just could retrieve them them, print them out on a wireless printer, and my colleagues could view them right away and start work on the project not wasting any valuable planning time. Rocketbook saves the day! Of course you never want that to happen, but it is nice peace of mind knowing that once you scan your notes, your notes are with you at all times, via your Rocketbook phone app and/or email. The Rocketbook app is so easy to set up and use, permitting me more time to focus on my schoolwork or planning. I am not super computer savvy but basically you download the Rocketbook App, assign where you want your documents to go, write away, check off where you want it sent at the bottom of the page, and scan your QR code on each page. Super easy. (I also like that it will sort anything by name if you enclose the title into two hashtags before and after the title like this ##title## at the top of the page. This means I don't even have to think about how to file it, and will know how to find it!)When you get into the app, there are also some free pages you can download and print out for one use purposes that can also work with the app. These are awesome! There are more lined pages, music pages, and graph paper for math students. Why is this amazing you ask? These are nice for taking notes in if you are working in groups in class and have to turn in your work. Normally you wouldn't be able to keep a copy because you have to turn it in, but fear not! Because you have preprinted out pages beforehand and scanned them, you can now turn them in, and even email them later to the whole group! You can have a copy to refer to for studying for a future test! The possibilities with Rocketbook are endless!I prefer the Letter-size version since typically my notes should be on standard-sized paper. I find the 7 different template styles included in my Rocketbook very useful for my purposes. The planning pages help me view what "to do" items I have scheduled, the agenda helps me plan 2 weeks at a time, which is invaluable as a student, the calendar template helps me plan out a whole semester with assignments, idea planning template helps me with planning ideas for future lesson plans for teaching, blank pages help me map out and diagram lesson planning webs or visuals to work out projects. The lined paper is my favorite template since it helps keep my writing looking neat and organized.I love too that all my notes which are colored coded, actually scan in color, continually helping me to stay organized as sometimes I use different colors for different subjects and can tell at a glance which subject I am looking at without reading all the text.Just a few notes. I have only used Frixion brand products in my Rocketbook. I have never had any issues with not being able to erase notes or notes disappearing on me, however I am careful not to leave my Rocketbook Fusion in my car. I recommend using only Frixion brand just because it seems to work really well with these pages. The ink does need a sec to dry before turning pages because it can smear on occasion, but then I just erase it and rewrite it again, not an issue at all.Lasly, I like the thickness of the pages and quality of my Rocketbook. It is extremely durable. It also reduces the need for me to carry a number of notebooks to class, since now I just bring the one.I am extremely satisfied with my Rocketbook Fusion and highly recommend it as an indispensable tool for any student or teacher for all these reasons and more! Hope you give a try, as I am happy I did! I love it!!!

Great with a few minor grievances
I have been using my rocketbook fusion daily for roughly 4 months now and have found it to be immensely helpful in my goal of reducing waste and clutter around my desk for notes and drawings that I'd like to keep a record of, but not necessarily in physical form (for example, brain storms, sketches, and the like). The fusion handles both of these requirements nicely with the ease at which I can wipe pages clean with just a bit of water on the provided cloth and the scanner app that is available to send your notes to various destinations (I'm pretty simple in my usage here and just use email without OCR).While I wouldn't give up this notebook for my needs (mostly creative writing and NOT high speed note taking during a lecture), there are a few things that I think would help make for a better experience:1. Don't use the provided 0.7mm pilot frixion that comes with the notebook. It bleeds too easily on the paper which has a glossy feel and is less absorbent than your standard run-of-the-mill loose leaf making the dry time too long for fast note taking (especially if you're working with less real estate in the executive size book like myself). I would suggest getting yourself the 0.5mm frixion that allows for much more precision and has better flow control for the ink that comes out of the pen. My own handwriting is very small so I still experience a bit of bleeding, but it is still a marked improvement over the base 0.7 that is provided.2. Hard and heavier covers would be so very, very nice. The flexible covers aren't quite stiff enough such that you could use the notebook well without a hard surface beneath it. Also, they have warped over time with the jostling against other items in my EDC bag (see attached pic for my notebooks natural state now). In order to get a good scan, I typically have to bend the pages to get them to flatten for the few seconds it takes to snap the picture.3. The spiral spine. I suspect that it's probably difficult to do traditional threaded binding on these pages given their material but that spine is simply too noticeable to just ignore completely. While I've gotten more used to it over time, everything would be much more comfortable if that hump simply wasn't there.Just to be clear, these points don't prevent me from using the notebook for its intended purpose. I am very happy with what it is and what it has allowed me to do!

Great notebook but...
I like the notebook but for the price you asking... the quality is not the best. The pages aren’t cut well and 4 of them are damaged. I expect some quality for the price tag...

Notebook of the Future!
So been using this for a couple of weeks and I have to say I love it! Instead of trawling through dozens of notebooks I can now search my emails instead for what I am looking for! Meeting notes have been taken, uploaded/emailed and then scrubbed. Only slight drawback is that you need to remember to write lightly...heavy writing leaves indents in the page but this is not something that would put me off. I genuinely think I have found the only notebooks I will use in future!

It's extremely simple Technology
I do like this book and the whole concept. My initial reading about this is that the book itself had a technology to it and was very intrigued about it. THIS IS NOT THE CASE:This is basically a wipeable notepad using special pens. There are Icons at the bottom of the page that indicate your storage preference, you shade this. When a picture is taken using the app on the phone it does Optical recognition and depending on your preference set on your phone uploads the 'Scanned document' to the correct location. One of my major worry in this whole process is how secure the application is in handling credentials for your dropbox, one drive etc. If this application has any flaws, hackers could access your online document storage..... Be Careful. I created a standalone location for dropbox and ensure the saved 'Documents' are not confidential.I will use this notebook on this basis and saved countless trees as the vast majority of lot of times (95%), have found that I did I did not need the notes to be saved. Th other 5% of the times a simple photo using the phone would have sufficed, with that in mind there are much cheaper note books, or you could make one up easily enough custom mage to you exact requirements.

Great idea & product, for the price though a pen holder could be built in :(
Excellent product, already had a Rocket Book and upgraded myself to the FusionWould be nice if Rocket Books were assembled in such a way that additional pages could be added if required, also would prefer a harder cover so using the pad when out n about on my knee etc would be easierThe app features are what it’s all about and they’re great.....Rocket Book could add a pen holder as part of the book instead of gouging customers for an add on pen holder,I just glued the pack of my frixion pens to the outside of the front cover
