Q: I would need both doors to slide all the way over to the right ,its for a cupboard , would the join in the middle of the track prevent that?

Hi, the join in the middle of would not prevent this door and slide from left to right with ease. It comes with four stoppers, so you determine where the doors work from. Yes, you can have two doors on one side. This rail is not designed for the doors to slide behind one another there is a different option for that.

Yes. Cut a bit off the both outer bars. You have around 4 inches either side to play with.
