The Devil's Candy

High Hope's as I loved the loved ones. That one was very original. This one is good not great. Sick soundtrack especially the cavalera conspiracy and 2 Metallica tracks but going that far for the soundtrack (for whom the bell tolls) was not necessary. Didn't even really fit the theme other than its metal af. The painting was sick. The plot was a little weak. Not super scary but good. Would be an excellent netflix and chill with your new metal girlfriend kinda movie. Worth a watch for sure.

This DVD arrived on the 10/28/20 and was in great condition. The function test I performed went well and no problems occurred. So I thank you for the new title in my collection. - JIMI

Less is more, that’s how some of the older horror movies did it and Devils Candy follows that.Very cool film

They had a good premise, I don't think it was well worked through out the film. Cheesy ending. Too predictable.

Absolutely loved it!! Unlike any other horror movie I've seen with a vibe all its own. It has a really creepy feel and a storyline you can't help but fall into. I highly recommend this one.

When the devil gets you, you're had. Very intense and disturbing film. Not for everyone.

So intense and creepy I have not finished this movie. The stars are for the quality of dvd and fast shipping.

This is a slow "getting under your skin" kind of movie. A state of mind really, about life constantly breaking your expectations; but also of the evil that crawls under our best efforts to make life beautiful for our loved ones.The director manages to make the titular devil feels pretty real as the personal failures of the characters slowly overtakes them to take a life of their own.But the real strength here is the creepy quality given to every details. This story feels more like real life drama than a horror story, and this, in its way, makes it even more terrifying.One can only wonder why the bleak atmosphere had to be broken by such a metal reversal at the end.Somehow breaking the spell of credibility that took this long to cast on the audiences.Still definitely worth a watch.
