I was not familiar with this brand, but the reviews suggested it would meet my needs at a fair price point. I opted to use my own wall ankers that are rated to handle 50 pounds. which is well beyond the weight of my bass. I am sure the included ankers are fine, but… Overall, this is a well-made hanger and what I like best is the mechanism that closes the ears when the instrument is hanging. The mechanism has a short vertical travel so it opens and closes quickly as you remove or replace the instrument. Yes, a little thing, but it also just looks neater and less utilitarian.Although I gave this product five stars, the only two minor things for me is the foam material. I am sure it is fine, but it is not as firm as the material used on the Herculese hangers. Basses are pretty heavy as compared to guitars, so they do leave dents in the firmer material, so I wonder how well the softer material will hold up over time. The second minor issue is the strip of foam across the back of the hanger, where the neck rests, does not look quite as finished as that of the Hercules. Again, a very minor thing, which is not a concern as far as protecting the back side of the neck, but just something to be aware of. I trust the hanger to hold a rather expensive bass, so there ya go.

For the price, I think this is good. I bought it after getting the hercules branded design. It does not lock as quickly/easily and is not as sturdy as the hercules, but it works. I trust it to hold my guitar. However, if you think its identical to the Hercules with the looks, although its a similar design, it is not as well executed.

Theses hangers work great and I have confidence that they are secure and safe. However, now that I have had them a few years, I am disappointed in the wear of the foam padding where my guitar headstock rests on the hanger. You can see in the photos that the foam has ultimately broken down and no longer “pads” the headstock. Now my guitars rest on hard plastic. All of my guitars are right in the 8 pound range or less so not like I am hanging heavy guitars. In fact, one is an acoustic that weighs less than five pounds. With my guitars in a small closet, I am extra careful getting them out and returning them to the hangers so abuse is not the case either. Just be aware that over time the padding wears through and you headstock isn’t protected when hung.

Great low-cost guitar hanger clip for the wall, not quite as beefy or sturdy as others out there like the Hercules but great for lighter-weight guitars or guitars in an area you don't think will be bumped into much. The mechanism itself seems solid enough and it was easy to mount, I would prefer the wood base be a bit larger of an area personally but that's just my taste.

Product looks well made, but my full size classical guitar did not fit, nor did my 3/4 size classical. The 3/4 size has a 2" neck and could barely squeeze in.Otherwise, seems to be well-made and I would recommend for smaller necked guitars. The lock feature didn't seem to work with the weight of my 3/4 size solid wood classical. It probably works with heavier guitars.

This thing is very well made, holds my SG without any issues. Simply set the guitar in the holder and the fingers swing closed to secure the guitar, lift the guitar and the finger open up

I just received this one today. I mounted it in 20 minutes. It works perfectly! The weight of my acoustic guitars close the security tabs completely. But the best part is it holds the instruments 2 1/4"s off the wall so the backs do not get scratched up. I just bought 3 more. Floor stands are good, But I'm old and clumsy and trip over my own feet sometimes. These are great for your home office, living room, or any place you want to keep your guitars handy.

The hook works flawlessly. I use one for my display guitar and the other for my playing guitar. Easy to mount and sturdy.
