Shipped fast, high quality, durable, accurate
I rec'd the crossbow a week earlier than what it said so that's a good start. I opened it and immediately could tell the quality was good, fit, finish, strong materials used. I read reviews that it is very hard to string, I thought it was easy, put a concrete block on the ground put one end of the bow against the block and lean a little bit of your weight on the other end and it is easy to put the string right on. I target practiced out to 30 yards, very accurate right out of the box, powerful and hits hard.

A Great Bow When Used Properly: Get Different Bolts
I'd caution against taking the really bad reviews too seriously in this case, and I assume there are some user errors causing problems. This is the best pistol crossbow I've owned or used, and I don't think you're getting any better right now without jumping into the $300+ range with "that one big brand" or going with a full-sized crossbow. The build quality is superb, it packs a punch, and if you get premium carbon 6.3-6.5 inch bolts for it with TPU fletchings, it's accurate. They're pricey, but they last and work really well with this bow. I did switch out the ironsights that it came with for a red dot, but they were functional, and they're built way better than the ones I've used on older versions and from other brands. It was purely a personal choice and unnecessary. With that setup and a target made of old clothes and rags tightly compressed in a trashbag (protects the fletchings) and backed by wood, I can get more penetration than my recurve bow, and I can maintain a 1-inch grouping after zeroing. Do not dryfire it, wax your strings before sessions, make sure you push the release button before yanking on the stock to cock it, and after each session, make sure your limb is still tight. That's all this really needs to keep it in good shape, and it's all the basics of using one properly. No special babying or coddling it. I've put hundreds of shots through it since purchasing it, and it's great. I'm still using the original string, too. Although, I keep some spares on hand, because these strings will wear faster than a high end string you get on bigger crossbows or recurves. I did dock 1 star for a quality control issue with the bolts. The bolts it came with were bent and unusable right out of the box. It's not a problem for me, because I knew the aluminum bolts were junk and got good bolts when I purchased it. Someone who is new to these would be very disappointed, though. You should probably do it anyway, because those aluminum bolts don't tend to last beyond the first time they're shot. Overall, this is a great choice for fun plinking, and if it's legal where you're at, it's definitely capable of reliably taking small game.

This mini crossbow exceeded my expectations in every way. The build quality is excellent, with durable materials that feel sturdy yet lightweight. Itโs surprisingly powerful for its size and very accurate, making it perfect for target practice or just having some fun. The design is sleek and easy to handle, with smooth loading and firing mechanisms. Itโs a fantastic piece for both beginners and enthusiasts. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a compact, reliable, and exciting crossbow!

Worth it
As others have said, this is not a toy, it's legit. I bought it to shoot Eurasian doves in my backyard. I haven't shot any yet, just been practicing so far. But the bolt goes into my archery foam target up to the fletching from 15 yards, maybe farther. It was as hard to string as everyone else said, even with 2 people we were unable to do it. I ended up using a ratchet strap hooked to both ends of the bow, then wrapped around the pistol grip. That made it super easy to do by myself. Very fun, highly recommend.

Awesome
Awesome crossbow and strong, be careful bolts will bury deep in tree if you miss, makes it harder to retrieve, so don't miss

Very Cool Bow!
Great bow and lots of fun. Well made and many styles to choose from. That being said, I returned this one because it wasn't the one I ordered. Slightly perturbed at the seller, but they are cool bows nonetheless.

Not a toy!
Fun, fun, fun! Get a pistol crossbow stringer, it'll save time. I also purchased some 7 inch carbon bolts, wow, what a difference in performance. I'm trying to find some 9 inch bolts, may have to make them. But it'll be worth it.
