Best licorice ever, IMHO!
These are soft red licorice, made in Detroit, so it is what I was raised on. Sure Twizzlers is good, but give these a chance to win you over. I have friends bring me these from Detroit, but sometimes i have to order the expensive version from here,.. but they are so good that I am ok paying more than retail for them.Better Maid are a little bigger than Twizzlers, and since they are so $$$, i allow myself one at night. They have such a delish taste and aroma. HIGHLY recommend. However, brother (raised in same house, by same parents) prefers Cherry Twizzlers. So... no accounting for taste.

Costs more than....
I will start out and let you know that this bag of licorice has a sticker tag on the front for $2.79... yet, we are charged more than double. I can't get these bags around here, so I find the price worth it. Just remember this when you place an order for these bags of licorice. You will be paying more than retail on them. It's sooooo worth it though. They are huge (so you don't eat as many in one sitting as you would the skinny Twizzlers). These make up more than two or three strands in one. The flavor is out of this world. Rich flavor and aroma. (I bought the red licorice).I received them FAST! in excellent condition. They are always FRESH. This is the fourth bag I have purchased, and each purchase has been top-notch!Overall: taste, freshness, texture, and thickness make it an easy FIVE-STAR rating even with the more than double the price sticker tag. We have one licorice stick each night with our popcorn and movie!

They have no customer service and they will short you at all costs
So I feel like the pictures are pretty much self-explanatory but for my non-visual learners. This is a company that expects you not to weigh the product so basically they’re shorting for every pound. They’re keeping an ounce so every 16 pounds that they sell they saved a pound this is a Sheisty company never buy from them from the looks of the wrapper. They’ve been around a long time by the skins of their teeth the candy was very mediocre and it was short. I couldn’t even imagine how long they’ve been doing this to people! and I bought some from another company just to compare that to? open both of them at the same time as you can see one is more than a pound, even if you go off of weights on the bag, one was under. And the one that was short, was this company right here old-fashioned my ass!!! And I really wish Amazon will stop making people choose a star. You have a negative star🫵🏾👎🏾

Thick & Mild.
This red licorice has a mild non-fruity flavor. The individual sticks are very thick, so a serving of 2-3 sticks is satisfying. 16g of carbs is a serving is great. The price is ridiculous. You can get a better deal if you buy a bulk order direct from the vendor.

Delicious
I bought this licorice for a stocking stuffer. It was passed around and everyone told me it was the best licorice they'd ever eaten!

Love the flaovr
Great product! HOWEVER, this is marked $2.99 on the bag!! I thought this was a speciatly licorice, hard to find and more of a nostalgic candy. Wrong, it's sold in most grocery and specialty stores. THE KICKER, it is at my work's front store. I just didn't know it. The place I work at, I get a bag almost twice the size as this product and its only $4.29. So, for the cost, it's horribly over priced here. I will just get my Bettermade licorice at a store and not pay $7 for a $3 product JUST REMEMBER EVERYONE, shipping isn't free, it's calculated in the price. This product is a sure example of this!!!

Too ezpensive
There is a $2.99 price stamped on the package. While it was delicious, I won't be paying double the price again.
