Works beyond expectations
I used this to maintain 2 AGM 12v batteries during the winter on a boat in a slip. I used to carry batteries from slip to home to put on charger which was backbreaking. This thing is amazing. It kept both batteries fully charged till Spring. At one point it blew off the boat and was submerged for an unknown period of time. I thought it would be toast, but as soon as I retrieved it, the blue light came back on and it continued charging. Well worth every penny.

It works great, but only on older cars
I have an 2006 Jeep and the cigarette lighter is directly connected to the battery even if the car key is off. This means that I can park my Jeep facing south and put the solar panel on top of the dashboard (inside) and let it charge the battery all day through the cigarette lighter port. The charger is MPPT to maximize current even if there are occasional clouds. The float charge feature will ensure that it won't over charge the battery.One thing to note is that newer cars/suvs/trucks won't have the cigarette lighter directly wired to the battery. You'll have to turn on the car key to enable the accessories (cigarette lighter). I won't feel safe to leave the car key in the vehicle all day, though. So you might need to rewire the cigarette lighter directly to the battery such that it can be charged without having the key in the car.I am satisfied with this setup over all and will do another long term review. Let me know if you have questions. I'll do my best to answer them. I am NOT getting paid to do this review. I bought this with my own money.
