TL,DR: If you’re looking for a cheap but good looking bed this is it, I’d recommend it.Also i uploaded pictures near my bed, because I’m too lazy to clean my room to take photos of the bed. You can look at my pets and see the bed in the photos 😅Honest review here since I’m just now thinking I want to look at a new bed after 4 years.This was a great cheap bed! It had the look I wanted, it was cheap lol, and it was low profile which I thought would be best since we o may have 8ft ceilings.Pros:It was pretty easy to put togetherIt’s never been loose or made noiseNo toe hazardsCons:The mattress isn’t locked into place really because there no real footboard. It’s not a huge problem because if it’s shifted 2-5 inches it’s fixed by me pushing it back with my knee when I’m making the bed.Our pillows can slowly slide down below the headboard when the mattress shifts around. Not too big of a deal again.It’s kinda too low profile. Or maybe I’m just getting old at 37 and hate getting out of bed, but I drive a tiny ass MINI copper and that doesn’t bother me sooo…Yeah the only reason I’m looking for a new one now is just to find something a little higher off the ground and maybe with a longer headboard so my pillows down go backwards when my mattress has shifted down.

First off, I purchased this with a discount code and it is SO worth the buy - discounted or not! We purchased a King size and are extremely happy!This is a steel frame with bamboo for the wood. The quality is amazing for the price and I absolutely LOVE this company for the ease of assembly, quality and style. The instruction manual comes with pictures and a number system. 1 goes to 1 and so on. But they also have in the picture to show you which parts you're dealing with and the numbers mean you can't mess this up. The way they constructed it is so awesome. The pieces for the metal frame slide into each other and the quality of the bolts are amazing. They have a ratchet included with an allen wrench, and the ratchet is great quality. I'm keeping it for sure!It says up to 700 lb capacity, but this frame is solid. I'm sure it can handle more and some rough treatment with ease. we have carpet in our bedroom, so that helps to cushion. But this frame does not squeak at all. We've already tried rocking it around, jumping on it and this thing isn't going anywhere. The bamboo slats are thick and great quality, there's Velcro on the sides of the frame that keep them in place and everything was finished so nicely. There is two strips of adhesive on the slats. You peel that off and it's meant to keep the mattress in place. We didn't use it, our mattress has some weight to it, so we're not worried about it moving. I cannot express how overjoyed I am with this bed frame!Some other great pointers was the delivery and packaging. Delivery with prime came on time and within 2 days, so that was a blessing. And the packaging was well done, but not excessive. We don't have a bunch of packaging that was unnecessary for the recycle bin and trash. I love that! Even the styrofoam they had for packaging is the good kind and we're keeping that too lol!I highly recommend this product and I hope everyone else has an amazing experience like we did!

This bed frame is economically priced, looks great, is sturdy, and was hands down the easiest thing to build I have ever purchased online.

I bought this for a guest bedroom. I have purchased two other Zinus products before (a metal "box spring" and metal bed platform), and this bed features their signature "easy to assemble" design. Every company that makes user-assembled furniture should learn a lesson from Zinus. They mark everything clearly -- what goes where -- with little stickers on the item itself. It is foolproof. The iron on this bed is solid. They include all the tools you need, including a handy ratchet. But I put it together with a battery operated drill with a hex screwdriver attachment and it went together like buttah. I put it together by myself.The other thing I like about this bed is that its footprint is barely bigger than the mattress. My previous bed extended out several inches on each side of the mattress. This did not. So this bed gives you a couple more inches of space in your bedroom.You should also be careful to consider the height of this bed. It is only 7" high. I chose it because I have an extremely thick 16" mattress. But if I had a 10" mattress, I think it would be too low to the ground.There were two minor quality control issues. One of the slats was improperly stapled to the velcro strip that connect them all. And there was a slight ding in the headboard, which is not noticeable.Bottom line: For a very modest price, you get a rock solid bed with minimalist styling. If you like the way the bed looks in the photos, and if your mattress is 14" or thicker you should be happy with it.

This is sturdy, fairly easy to assemble. Took less then 1 hour for me to put together on my own and it came with the required tools. Nice and low to the ground which is perfect for your kids first bed. It also looks really nice!

Easy to assemble, robust but light and attractive for a guy who has never had a backboard.

crazy value! no complaints! i chose this low profile frame after noticing high profile frames seem to wear out faster and develop a wobble or creak. not this thing! it’s as solid as a rock. the metal is so sturdy and thick, we have actually pavlov dog’d ourselves walking on eggshells around it to protect our toes, because if you stumble into it, it’s not moving. it’s also extremely quick and easy to disassemble and move. it has minimal screws and parts, and it’s holes are cut well for such a low price. it never loosens, never squeaks. the headboard is solid wood and can be sanded and stained if desired, but i like it’s colour. the wood and metal have not gotten scratched up even though we have cats who jump and climb all over the headboard. the headboard is not against the wall but doesn’t squeak or lean even though we have been resting against it for two years. easy to clean.yes the low profile means we can’t store things under it, but it also means not a lot of stuff can get lost under it, and the lack of space underneath is worth it imo. if you like it’s appearance, get it, because i’ve never gotten better value for such sturdy, brand new furniture.

I was skeptical about buying furniture online, I wanted a platform bed but didn't want to break the bank. I was blown away by the whole experience. I've never made an Amazon review before but I was actually compelled to write a review after getting this product. First off the shipping was incredible, I live in rural Canada, so to have my package arrive in one day was perhaps a stroke of luck but was incredible to see.Important things to note- While the product box was damaged the inside was pristine, I understand though that if any QC issues exist or if there was any damage during shipping it would sour this experience.- The ease of assembly was incredibly well thought out. This is easily the most simple assembly process I have ever had. I did everything by myself with no problems. I cannot stress how well thought out the assembly of this product was. I had this assembled and all the garbage thrown out in less than an hour- The price. For the quality of the parts and the thought given to the product, this could easily be hundreds more expensive. However one of the biggest selling points of the product is the quality you get for the price. Even the packing styrofoam that comes in the box is sealed in plastic so that they don't make a mess in your house. The level of thought and preparation is beyond what I expected.- The overall look is great, it's simple but it's exactly what I wanted. What I saw in the photos is exactly what I got here.These next points aren't cons just be aware before you buy!- The box is heavy! It is a 2 person lift, no question about it. This is obvious given it's a bed frame that is almost entirely metal. Make sure you have someone to help you move it into your house. I did do it solo, and hurt my back in the process (my fault), the box clearly mentions that this needs 2 people.- Measure before you buy. It is a low to the floor platform bed. This is exactly what I wanted, and I measured everything before I bought it. However, if you need height getting out of bed in the morning this will be way too low for you.- I cannot guarantee that your product won't come damaged, once I saw the inside and the packing I realized it would have been incredibly difficult to have any parts damaged during transport. However, I know these things happen and I have been on the receiving end of that as well. That said if you receive your product undamaged, I cannot imagine how you could be disappointed in this product, especially given this price point.If it isn't obvious I could not be happier. If I ever buy any furniture in the future again I will 100% consider this brand.
