It's true...If you just put these things together and pinch the plastic clip onto the nose and and throw it...it just doesn't fly. However, after a good deal of experimentation I've devised a solution to the problem. First, insert the wing as shown. Pull the inserted wing all the way to the back of the plane so the back edge slot in the wing is fully engaged with the plane. Then, instead of putting the pinch clip on the nose, slide it onto the top edge where the cockpit window is so the plastic is slightly tilted upward and appears to be the pilot's windshield. Finally, bend both wings equally downward...just enough to effect a downward swoop in the wings without creasing the styrofoam. Now throw the plane with a very slight upward trajectory. This is about the best glide you can get from this particular design.

I bought these when talking about the space shuttle program event for a give away Everyone wanted one, but nose dive instead of fly! I was hoping they would glide just a little bit!

The kids got these for birthday party favors - space theme - they are cute but don't fly well, sorta a waste of $

Horrible! They don’t fly or glide but they are incredible at plummeting to the ground in a massive nosedive maneuver. Insert eye roll. Waste to money. They are also much smaller than I expected- but that’s my fault for not reading the description. That alone would have been fine- but the lack of functionality garners the single star rating.

They are cheap. Bought these to use for a Cub Scout day activity, and they didn't hold up very well. But I guess for the price, you get what you pay for.

They were a great party favor they work great but not long lasting with rough little toddler hands. But they love them for a few days
